Challenge Details
The email application we are designing will eventually be used throughout IBM and will replace Gmail and other email applications created by outside vendors. It is very important that you pay attention to the details and think about the overall experience. We do want to push common thought and create a "better email, scheduling, task" application. We need you to consider each step and interaction in your design!

Design Problem
We need a new (simple!) contact management component as part of our new email application. We are looking for a great design and user experience focused on "contact management". We are not looking for this to have "everything" - what it needs is a simple and engaging experience.
- How often do you manage your contacts?
- Where do you normally manage your contacts (from the email creation view, or do you go into your contact list?)

The Contact Management module should be an integrated part of the experience
where a user can search other users, check profiles, see activity/social activity via a timeline, check relationship status/connections. Think about the "new contact managment experience"

Important
- Do your homework/research... there are a lot of Contact Management tools, apps, plugins etc... what resonates with you as necessary features?

Accessibility:
Accessibility and 508 compliance is extremely important for this project. Please see below:
- Make sure when you are planning your designs you are also thinking about accessibility (http://www-03.ibm.com/able/access_ibm/disability.html).
- You can view the accessibility checklist here.(http://www-03.ibm.com/able/guidelines/web/ibm508wcag.html)

General Requirements
- Your design submission must belong and enhance the provided IBM Castle application look and feel - one unified user experience!
- Required screen sizes:
1). Mobile Retina Portrait (768px x 1024px)
2). Desktop Standard Wide (1280px x Height up to your design)
Important: Practice good PSD source file etiquette: Check out: http://photoshopetiquette.com/files/

Things to plan for
We want this Contact Management module to be simple and professional.

-- Dormancy (Out of sight, out of mind. If you don’t work a relationship, it will degrade)
-- Frequency (The more often you talk, the deeper your relationships can be)
-- Responsiveness (Shows you know how to get their attention)
-- Privacy (Strong relationships are one-to-one)
-- Freshness (Relationships need depth, but they also need to evolve across topics)
-- Balance (The best relationships are ones where everyone is equal)
