Challenge Summary
Welcome to Pillar to Post – EZPost Design Challenge!
The goal of the EZPost / e-commerce website is to facilitate the customer’s research on the home inspection process and options, and to sell customers on inspection package upgrades and added services, as well as making it easy for the customer to finally sign necessary VIAs/contracts and then either pay now or chose to pay on site.
Previously we ran a wireframe challenge to build the screens needed for this tool and you will be provided with the wireframes we built.
Round 1

Challenge Description:
The goal of the EZPost / e-commerce website is to facilitate the customer’s research on the home inspection process and options, and to sell customers on inspection package upgrades and added services, as well as making it easy for the customer to finally sign necessary VIAs/contracts and then either pay now or chose to pay on site.
Branding Guidelines:
- Branding Guideline (PTP_Internal-Style-Guide.docx).
Target devices:
- Your solution needs to consider Responsive Design when viewed on Portrait and Landscape view of Tablet device.
- Desktop: 1280px width (height can expand to fit content).
- Tablet Resolution: Design for iPad 2 Retina Display 2048px x 1536px.
Make sure you create graphic in 'shape' format, so when we resize graphics will still look sharp!
Design Goals:
- Your design needs to be responsive; please consider that while designing the pages.
- The application needs to be very easy to use and self evident in navigation.
- Focus on the user experience of each page and make sure each page has a complete flow.
- Give importance to the overall layout and think about how a user would interact with the content on the page.
- Show all the screens and provide a user flow/click-path, so we can see how the interactions fit together in the application.

Required Functionality:
The quoting tool should contain the following functionalities:
1- Choose Package:

- What we are trying to achieve here:
-- Ability to be able to present better educational material on the packages.
---- For example a short video overview for each of the three packages.
-- Improve the hover over (?) functionality. Make this more intuitive, and with greater flexibility for the type of content that can be shown (text, pictures, embedded video, etc.).
- We need the floating cart.
- We need to show comments section.
- Show prices at bottom of packages.
2- Additional Services:
- Click upgrade under premium to get to this page.
- We like the grid view.
- We like the blue checkbox.
- We need the video popup.
- We need the learn more popup.
Target audience:
- People who are looking for home inspection services.
Judging Criteria:
- Interpretation and Adherence to the provided branding and look.
- Adherence to the user flow outlined in the wireframes.

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.
Submission File:
Submit JPG/PNG for your submission files.
Source Files:
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as layered PSD file, or Adobe Illustrator as a layered AI file.
Final Fixes:
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. We may ask you to update your design or graphics based on checkpoint feedback. See more information about Final Fixes.
