This challenge is part of the IBM Castle Challenge Series. Competitors who win challenges in this series will compete in a leaderboard and earn points towards additional cash prizes. Where are you on the leaderboard?

Note: These design challenges will be FAST and we will be providing FAST feedback! We will stay on schedule as there is no room to move our delivery dates!

Challenge Description
We are back to push what the "Contacts" experience should be within the Castle Application experience. This application is designed to be a "single-page" application. So we want to integrate as much as possible into our existing "inbox view" and grid system.

It is important that you submit complete solutions and an InVision App as part of your design. We are now refining specific user experiences within the Castle application and we need to be 98% complete with your concept at the end of this challenge. Think through the user experience!

Reference/Source Files
- We are providing the source files from the previous challenge. This is "basic" contact functionality
- The goal of this challenge is to create a better contact experience for enterprise customers.
- We want the 360-degree view of a contact!

Design Problem
We are looking for a great design and user experience focused on "contact management". We now want to focus on a great "contact and people" application.
- This is an enterprise application - you will have 20,000 plus contacts! You have a lot of contacts... yet it needs to be a simple and engaging experience

The Contact Management module should be an integrated part of the experience where a user can search other users, check profiles, see activity/social activity via a timeline, check relationship status/connections. Think about the "new contact management experience"

Research!
Do your homework/research... there are a lot of Contact Management tools, apps, plugins etc... what features stand out to you?
- We are focused on a responsive solution

Accessibility:
Accessibility compliance is
extremely important for this project. Please see below:
- Make sure when you are planning your designs you are also thinking about accessibility (http://www-03.ibm.com/able/access_ibm/disability.html).
- You can view the accessibility checklist here.(http://www-03.ibm.com/able/guidelines/web/ibm508wcag.html)

General Requirements
- Your design submission must belong and enhance the provided IBM Castle application look and feel - one unified user experience!
- Required screen sizes:
1). Mobile Retina Portrait (750px x 1334px)
2). Desktop Standard Wide (1280px x Height up to your design)
Important: Practice good PSD source file etiquette: Check out: http://photoshopetiquette.com/files/

Things to think about
- We want to have a full view of our contacts. Think of the contact experience having more insight into your contacts.
- This will be an "intelligent" contact application... think of IBM technology (cognitive) integration.
-  Extensibility with third party offerings that include actions... so third party apps that could add their features to this.
- Communication timeline
- Social timeline (showing social media posts etc)
- Relationship History
- Relationship Strength
- We also need existing functionality like manage duplicates, merge etc.

Design Thoughts
- We must keep things consistent with your existing Castle design patterns (note the update navigation, left column placement etc.)
- Use latest navigation from Navigation Update UI v9.zip
- What does our "Contact List/Inbox view" look like?
- Realize we are integrating/pushing towards a "one view" that a user can manage Emails, Contacts, Calendar etc.... continue this thought.
- Awesome Bar integration

When I click on a Contact I should also see:
- Timeline (interactions with me)
- Social Activity (ties all social account items into a single thread view)
- File shared
- Related People
- Relationship Strength
- Groups (how does the "Important to me" (ITM) information appear? (online status, offline, busy etc.)
- Chat, Email etc.
- Chat history?

Things to plan for
- Contact Search & Filter
- Contact Groupings by Division, Company, Vendors, any custom options?
- Contact List View/Grid View
- Contact Multiple Selection View
- Contacts selection as part of the calendar/meeting creation
- Quick Contact Buttons (Call, SMS, Email, Add to Calendar Event, Tag Users, etc)
- Contact Timeline/Activity
- Contact Social Activity
- Related Contact
- Contact Information/About User
- Add/Connect/Favorite Contact
- Contact Business Card
- Contact Files
- Contact Companies
- Relationship Strength (This section shows your relationship to people in your contacts)
- Sample Relationship Strength fields. Feel free to suggest different approaches:
-- Dormancy (Out of sight, out of mind. If you don’t work a relationship, it will degrade)
-- Frequency (The more often you talk, the deeper your relationships can be)
-- Responsiveness (Shows you know how to get their attention)
-- Privacy (Strong relationships are one-to-one)
-- Freshness (Relationships need depth, but they also need to evolve across topics)
-- Balance (The best relationships are ones where everyone is equal)

Fields of Contact Information
- The current design shows simple input for a new contact. After I have that contact... I can now add more details. What is that experience?

These are the possible options when user updates contact information:
- Display Name
- Email address (Can be more than 1)
- Set primary email address
- Providers (Can be more than 1)
- Providers User ID
- Photo URL
- Organization
- Role
- Title
- Address
- Work Location
- Country Code
- Building
- Floor
- Office Number
- Phone Number
- Manager
- Is a manager?
- Other

Target Audience
- IBM Internal Users
- IBM External Vendors

Judging Criteria
- How well you design a modern Contact Experience!
- Keep things consistent with the existing design brand of IBM Castle Application.
- Cleanliness of your graphics and design.
- User Experience for Modern Calendar component.
