Challenge Summary

Welcome to  "Living Progress - Disabled Lifestyle Planning Web App Wireframes Challenge". In this challenge, we are looking for your help to create the best possible UX for our application that targets the Intellectually Disabled (ID) community. This app will be used to increase social capital for people with disabilities using Person Centered Planning methodologies. At the end of this challenge, we are looking to see intuitive and easy to use (no training required) "wireframe concepts" that will help us design and build the UI in the next phase of this project!

Background Overview
We want to addressing about social perception that all people with Intellectual Disabilities are viewed as helpless and incapable of making quality lifestyle decisions requiring others to make decisions for them. A large segment of society does not see the persons with ID as valuable members of their community. They are seen as people to be felt sorry for, taking care of by others who believe they know best, or people with ID should be kept out of sight (institutionalized). No human being should be relegated to these categories simply because they may look different.

We want to bring "Person Centered Planning methodologies" to Intellectually Disabled (Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy) community where we hope it will lead to tremendous opportunities for self actualization and personal independence. Person Centered Planning is a set of approaches designed to assist someone to plan their life and supports. It is used most often as a life planning model to enable individuals with disabilities or otherwise requiring support to increase their personal self-determination and improve their own independence.

We want to create software tools targeted to these people. We foresee impact in these lives by improving engagement, building self reliance, self control and participation of their community.

Challenge Goals 
Increase Social Capital for People with Disabilities using an easy to use application that using "person centered planning methodologies" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Person-centred_planning).
- Create software tool that able to give person with ID an ability to advocate and communicate for support needs in their primary language.
- Create software tool that will allow a person to focus their current supports and change them as their support needs change through life.
- Person Centered Lifestyle Planning changes common patterns of community life, it increases the use of community integration and employment opportunities.

- Touch screen, dragging, and/or voice input options for people who can not type. For example, ability to use voice to text, and text to audio read out.
- Easy to understand language, images, and audio playback of choices made
- Personalize profile page with pictures, personal art work
- Ability to change interview questions or add to list of questions
- Option to forward personal plan to important people in their life
- Available in English and Spanish. Ability to switch/ change language

- Method to notify identified caregiver a profile has been updated
- Drop down list for identified people to be sent the updated profile

Use Case:
Person with ID
- Will answer questions and drag wanted options to Profile page
- Will edit profile page when needed
- Personalize profile page with pictures, personal art work
- Will use drop down for addresses of persons to receive copy
- Person may receive support from caregiver or circle of supports as needed to utilize the technology.

Caregiver, Family member, friend (assistance with communication)
- Need to assist Person with ID to answer questions
- Will assist with priority list
- Will assist with use of software options - typing, drag and drop

Administrator to manage users and their data
- As an administrator with Person's consent, to view Profile to manage measurement data

Screen Flows
The following screens only for recommendations, if you have a better concepts that will provide better solution for our goals, please feel free to create it.

ID User Scenario:
01. ID Dashboard Screen
- Default screen for user when open the apps.
- User should be able to navigate to other apps features (navigation/menu) 
- Show user progress and activity in the apps (all progress for lifestyle survey, work/social life/relationship/health & safety)
- Provide easy to use options to set communication ways - Touch screen/dragging/voice options for people who can not type - for example, ability to use voice to text and audio to communicate in the system.
- Ability to view their current profile summary
- Ability to view and add Caregiver or people that important in their life (add profile, address, email, etc) 
- Show what kind of dashboard type that easily fit for ID people 
- Show us your creativity for the dashboard area, what is important information that needs to be shown in this page? How can this page improve the overall the user experience? 

02. Lifestyle Survey Screen
- Provide a survey component to interview user and determine priorities
- The Person Centered Profile is a compilation of a series of questions that will:
-- Lead a person through 4 categories (work, social life, relationships, health & safety) what they identify as essential to their lifestyle.
-- Identify what is important to them (likes/desires/goals)
-- Identify what is important for them ( health & safety needs).
- This app would include modules that allowed work, social life, relationships, health and safety to be profiles. 
- Often it would begin with a set of questions and interview format to create profile based on priorities. Subsequently, this could be updated and referenced as a personal plan.
- Easy to understand language, images, and audio playback of choices made (options to understand the survey and to answer it)

Sample Flow/ Questions:
- Step 1 - Person Identifies General Topic option Work/Employment 

- Step 2 - Work/Employment opens to series of questions.
-- Is it important to you to make money?
-- Do you need money to pay primary bills, rent, food etc.?
-- Are you interested in making money for other services, donations, personal items etc?
-- What kind of work can you see yourself doing?

- Step 3 - Person makes a list of Interest/Talents
-- Where do people with these Interests/Talents go to when in the community?
-- What places or people would like to receive those talents?
-- What or where of the identified interests is most exciting to you?

- If you were going to have "xx-job name-xx", what supports would you need to be successful?
- If employment is not of interest, are there meaningful activities/volunteer opportunities that would support your unique talents?
(Answers from these questions would be available to transfer to the Person Centered Profile)


03. Personal Plan Profile Screen
- A "1 Page" Personal Plan Profile (based on survey/interview questions)
- Once all areas in survey are identified they will be available in a 1 page personal profile that the individual can edit as they choose and share with whom they choose.
- Personalize profile page with pictures, personal art work
- The One page profile will have categories including:
-- What is Important TO the person 
-- What is Important FOR the person 
-- What support(s) I need to be successful
- This profile would need to have the ability to use photos as well as text and touch screen options for people that may not have the ability to type.
- Option to forward personal plan to important people in their life
- Drop down list for identified people to be sent the updated profile

04. Progress Tracking Screen
- Synchronize Personal plan with daily user activity to meet their goals.
- Track progress on current support needs being met
- Ability to manage and track progress on ease of use

05. Profile Updates Screen
- Easy update of profile
- Available interaction options to updates profile for People who have difficulty reading, Text and Pictures (touchscreen/voice based/etc)

06. Setting Screen
- Language settings - Available in English and Spanish (Mandarin will follow)
- Security - Encryption/password protected
- Touch screen/dragging/voice options for people who can not type - for example, ability to use voice to text and audio
- Set Default and prioritize Caregiver 

Caregiver User Scenario:
07. Dashboard Screen
- This screen purpose is to manage and determine support that ID person needed to reach their goals.
- Notification area where caregiver will be aware that an ID profile has been updated
- Ability to tracking ID progress and to discover and determine what kind of support the ID person need

Administrator User Scenario:

- Show list of active ID user and their caregiver
- Ability to change interview questions or add list of questions to Lifestyle plan
- Ability to manage users and their caregiver

Design Requirements:
This app will be responsive and design elements should be easily translate to working on different device sizes. We are just focusing on Desktop for the Wireframes
- Desktop: 1280px width (height can expand based on content) 

Documentation:
- Documentation.zip (Consist of few examples of profile for content references).

Target Audience:
- End users: The population of persons that have Intellectual Disabilities (ID) - Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Neurological conditions, Epilepsy.
- Caregiver, Family member, friend (assistance with communication)
- Administrator to manage users and their data

Judging Criteria:
- Overall User Experience
- Completeness and accuracy of the wireframe as defined in the challenge spec
- How well your wireframes provide a consistent user flow.
- How well your wireframe captures all the functionality.
- Any suggestions, interactions and user flows you recommend (provide any notes or comments for the client).

All requested contest requirements as clickable HTML files generated by Axure.  All the content must be listed and the pages are linked together to show page flow.

Source Files
Wireframes should be built in Axure. The resulting source files used to generate the clickable HTML files.

- All fully editable original source files of the submitted wireframe as required by the contest under "Source Files" in the sidebar should be included in your Source zip file.

Final Fixes:
As part of the final fixes phase, you may be asked to modify content or user click paths.

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:
