Challenge Summary

Welcome to the “PepsiCo Market Leadership Cockpit Design Concepts Challenge!”  In this challenge, we are looking for you to design our Market Leadership Cockpit (KPI) Dashboard for use by PepsiCo executives. We are looking for you to focus on a great user experience and how users will interact, navigate and visualize their key performance indicator (KPI) dashboard.  Users will open their Dashboard and will need to quickly scan the information and view key drivers of the business and take action based on what the information is telling them. Calls to action should be consistent, clear and concise. Sketches are provided that are illustrative of the types of indicators we want to see, but we do not want to constrain the ideas only to the provided sketches.

Round 1

Submit your initial design for a checkpoint feedback:
1. Homepage (aka Main Cockpit)
2. Market Insights
3. Commercial performance – Main dashboard

As part of your checkpoint submission, you must upload your submission to Invision or Marvelapp  so we can provide direct feedback on your designs. Make sure to include a URL/Link to your design within your "notes.txt".
- If you need an Invision Project, please request one from adroc@topcoder
- Make sure all pages have correct flow! Use correct file numbering. (00, 01, 02, 03).

Challenge Description:
The goal of this challenge is to create visual design concepts for the Market Leadership Cockpit Dashboard based on the functionality listed below, the provided sketches and your thoughts on an engaging user experience. We want unique and new concepts so we encourage only using the sketches for guidance/wireframes only. It is critical that the visual clues & overall navigation theme be consistent across the entire application.

Market Leadership Cockpit Functionality:
We are focused on 3 main performance areas:
1) External insights (i.e. Market Share)
2) Cause of Change
3) Sales Performance

Important: We are looking for NEW graphical user interface solutions using modern “data visualization” techniques! One of the key items we want to visualize is how a user will click into the data and see the visualization of secondary information. We are working within a 2D space but are interested in 3D visualization techniques.

- Keep the experience visual and interactive
- This application will consolidate business data from many sources and display it in a dashboard that must be clear, consistent and concise.
- We need the navigation to quickly draw C-Level executives attention to areas that need additional focus.
- Set clear visual clues that will be used throughout the navigation experience.
- Calls to action - do more of …, do less of …, need to focus, need to assess, … should be visually clear & simple.
- Focus on trends (year over year performance), benchmarks & winners/losers wherever applicable.
- Acknowledge the Category focus (Snacks vs. Beverages)
- Additional data points & descriptions are attached to the c (Sample data files provided)
