Challenge Summary

Welcome to Pixel(TM) - Analytics Design Standardization Challenge!
This challenge purpose is to update the look, feel and user experience of screens from different applications to fit the provided Pixel(TM) client style guidelines.  Also, as part of your submission, we want to see a fresh look and feel generally based on the provided style guidelines.

At the end of challenge, we’re expecting all screens to look similar to the Pixel(TM) examples provided and conform to the provided guidelines.  Optionally, we are hoping you will include some variations on the design and provide a fresh look and feel so it can enhance user experience.  More details about the optional bonus prizes below.
Challenge Description:
The current look and feel of Pixel(TM) Screens is going to be the standard for other related applications.  You are strongly recommended to take a look at the actual application screens (Screens.zip). We included screenshots so you can see both examples of the Pixel(TM) style and what we currently have for the screens that need to be redesigned.  By reviewing these screens you can think of ideas and solutions to improve it.

We are looking for the [topcoder] design Community to help us with planning our new "user experience" (UX). Community members should feel free to suggest other forms of interaction and UX improvements for this project.

Branding Guidelines:
- Pixel(TM) Style guide (Pixel(TM) Styleguide.zip).

Target devices:
- Desktop: Width of 1280px and height as required.

Supporting Documents:
- Pixel(TM) Screenshots (Screens.zip).

Challenge Goals:
- Redesign Pixel(TM) Screens by following Pixel(TM) style guide.
- Enhance the user experience.
- Enhance look and feel.

Design Considerations:
- Focus on the user experience of each page and make sure each page has a complete flow.
- Give importance to the overall layout and think about how a user would interact with the content on the page.
- Show all the screens and provide a user flow/click-path, so we can see how the interactions fit together in the application.

Notes:
- The screens are not for the same app so you don’t need to worry about gathering them and present them as one.
- All redesigned screens should follow the style guide and need to look consistent.

How we will judge the innovations:
- Does the design make use of new styles to make improvements on the overall design of graphs? (desired)
- Does the design make use of new styles to make improvements on the overall design of the application? (desired)
- Does the design show the data organized in a new way, such as a new type of graph? (highly desired but only if the new representation gives new meaningful insights)
- Does the design combine data from different graphs or break down the data? (highly desired but only if the new representation gives new meaningful insights)
- Does the design still fit the given design style? (desired, but not important)

What are new meaningful insights?
Each screen being designed shows information that is valuable in a certain business context.  Owners can derive meaning from and make better business decisions by analyzing the right data.  The accessibility of those business insights is influenced by how the data is represented on graphs.  Consider if you were a business owner in various fields and industries.  What views on the information in these screens might you wish you could see?  You are encouraged to include an explanation with your submission about why you think your design provides new meaningful insights.  You are also welcome to focus on stylistic innovations or winning the main prizes via conformity.  We realize the meaningfulness of insights is highly subjective and so we have tried to represent that in our prize structure.  If your innovation provides

NOTE: You must complete all screens with conformity to win the main prize, however you can still win an innovative variation bonus even if you have not completed all required screens in addition to your variation.
