Challenge Summary

Welcome to the Drone Market Provider Wireframe Challenge! In this challenge, we are looking for your concepts, ideas and wireframe solutions to help plan out our new marketplace for connecting consumers to drone providers to provide a variety of tasks.

The Drone Market will be a web platform where customers can request a drone to provide a service.  Examples of the services would be drone delivery, mapping, monitoring and many other tasks. We want you to focus on the workflow and bringing simple (creative) solutions to how these services will be surfaced to the providers.  At the end of this wireframe challenge, we are looking to have a solution that allows us to understand the provider experience.

NOTE: We have another wireframe challenge in-parallel for the consumers requesting drone services, please look at that as well to get a better understanding of the concept. As these two challenges are related to the same project - try to get your hands on both the challenges!

Round 1

Submit your initial wireframe solution for checkpoint feedback
01. View My Requests
02. Request Details
03. View List of Drones
04. Upload Delivery Results

Notes.jpg: Any comments about your design for the Client.

Round 2

Submit final wireframe solution plus checkpoint feedback.
01. View My Requests
02. Request Details
03. View List of Drones
04. Upload Delivery Results
05 Service Details Page

Notes.jpg: Any comments about your design for the Client.

This is a wireframe challenge. We are looking for your wireframe concepts to help us plan the potential of this application and platform. Key things to think about are how providers can use the platform to provide exceptional services.
- What is the process?
- What is the user flow?
- How does a consumer find available drone providers?

View/Research other marketplaces like dronebase.com or taskrabbit.com for ideas but please do not copy them, if you do all submissions will look the same!

User Stories:
Provider
- As a provider, I will be able to view requests for my services and the status of each request.
- - I can click on a request and see all of the request details and be able to accept or reject the request.
- From an accepted request, I will be able to click a button to deploy the mission parameters to my drone.
- - - I will need to be able to select the drone to deploy the work to.
- I will be able to view the status of my drones
- - - I can see by drone when they are scheduled and what requests are assigned to them.
- Upload mission results
- - - As a provider I can preview flight telemetry and photos from a mission and hit a button to publish results back to the platform.

Wireframe Expectations:
- You should create traditional wireframe call-outs and notes
- Provide us with your interaction and click-path thoughts and suggestions
- Produce HTML click-through wireframes that can be used to demonstrate all mentioned functionalities as required in each round.
- The application must be very easy to use and intuitive. Keep that in mind when create your solution for the layout and flow information.
- You MUST cover all requirements mentioned in challenge details.
- UPDATE: We are accepting invisionapp prototype as well!!

Wireframe Guidelines:
- Create your wireframe for responsive (desktop focus)
- Minimum width 1024px with height adjusting accordingly.

Required Pages:
We are looking for the following pages - feel free to adjust/modify based on your planning.

Provider Screens
01. View My Requests (Dashboard?):
- This screen should list all the requests that were received from the consumers.
- Will it be good to show some kind of notification on "recently executed requests, etc?
- We are looking for your thoughts on what other information could be useful for a provider in this page?

02. Request Details:
- View the details of the request (package type, what is being delivered, weight, location to be delivered, etc).
- User should be able to accept or reject a request.

03. View List of Drones:
- View list of my drones that are certified on the Airbus platform and see which drones are already booked / scheduled vs free and assign a drone!
- User sends the mission parameters to the assigned drone with a click of a button and all required parameters are uploaded wirelessly to the drone.

04. Upload Delivery Results:
- User should be able to preview all of the mission results including flight telemetry data (time of launch, mph, distance, route, time mission completed, any pictures from the mission).
- They should have the ability to publish data to the platform.

05 Service Details Page:
- User should be able to view their own service details page and should have the ability to edit the page.
- Provide ability to update the list of services being offered (should be able to add or remove a service), alter their pricing, anything else? looking forward to your thoughts.

NOTE:
You are welcome to add additional screens or combine some of these screens if you feel it will improve the user experience. We are open to your creative ideas around how to plan this platform.

Submission & Source Files
Preview Image
Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Wireframes should be built in HTML or Axure or Invisionapp prototype. The resulting files are not critical in this challenge. The most important point is that all the content is listed and the pages are linked together to show page flow. Keep your source files out from this submission folder.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted ideas. If you would like to submit notes please include notes.txt file.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify content or user click paths.

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

Stock Photography

Stock photography is not allowed in this challenge. All submitted elements must be designed solely by you. See this page for more details.

How To Submit

  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.
