Challenge Details
We are looking to create a new Topcoder portal site focused on cognitive technologies! Our microsite will be used to inform and recruit Topcoder members to register and compete in cognitive technology challenges. Computers increasingly are able to do things once thought unique to human abilities and intelligence. It is now possible to automate tasks that require human perceptual skills (recognizing handwriting or identifying faces) and those that require cognitive skills, such as planning, reasoning from partial or uncertain information, and learning. Technologies able to perform these tasks are known as cognitive technologies. Examples of cognitive technologies include computer vision, machine learning, natural language processing, speech recognition, and robotics.

The first set of cognitive challenges will be sponsored by IBM and will focus on leveraging IBM Watson. This microsite focus is on cognitive technologies with IBM as the sponsor - please keep this in mind when designing. We want to create a great "Topcoder branded" microsite and not an IBM branded site.

When designing the site make it relevant to you and Topcoder developers. (Final users will be the Topcoder Community).

Important:
Reference Template
- We will be using our current “Predix” microsite for layout reference: http://predix.topcoder.com/
- We are looking to reuse the base code...  so, be inspired by the site but do not let it hinder your creative process.
