Challenge Summary

Welcome to the FAST - Mobile Lead Management and Digital Sales Design Concepts Challenge. In this challenge, we are looking for you to design mobile application concepts for an automated client relationship management tool (CRM) that is focused on the Wealth Management industry!

We are looking to concept on a wealth management CRM application that will allow our users to manage lead generation and conversion by showing in-depth client analytics and leveraging automated campaign management. So the user experience will focus on ease-of-use and how much of this can be automated. We will want to look at the ease of inputting leads and how automated the "next steps" can be from capturing client dialogue, triggering automated (email and marketing) campaigns, personalized offers/sales as well as tips on products and services.

Challenge Details
An automated mobile CRM tool with cross-channel integration, that can apply analytics to come up with relevant content for bolstering sales and marketing initiatives.

We are looking for these types of features/concepts:

a) Sales force automation
b) Simple account and lead management
c) Pipeline and revenue forecasting
d) Campaign management, target client list creation, campaign ROI calculation
e) Customer service and communication mechanism
f) Profile-based access mechanisms for data security
g) Analytics engine for calculating profitability, statistics etc.

We want to emphasize these items:
- Cross-channel integration is one of the most important drivers for our client's program. We are looking for your concepts to incorporate this angle in some way.
- Data security, profile-based access mechanisms
- User: The user is a wealth management advisor - they will use this application to work with other advisor and to help manage their customers.
- Automation - (analytics, campaign management, help suggestions etc.)

Design Considerations:
- Looking for a new, futuristic user experience for managing a wealth management sales force
- Needs to be simple, clean and easy to use
- Collaborative interactions… future interactions (adding cognitive features?)
- We will focus on Phone and iPad

Suggested Screens:
01 Dashboard: (Phone and Tablet)
Show us design concepts for Phone and Tablet
The mobile dashboard is going to be key to this application. What are the key navigation needs? What should be the priorities from this page? Remember a dashboard has quick information (and visual!)
- Ability to view messages and reply to messages on the dashboard (where do the messages come from?)
- Ability to view open tasks and activities (what tasks have priority)
- Ability to view nearby accounts/clients (GPS)
- Ability to quickly access client and prospect accounts (displays critical account information as well as take notes, photos, files, and visit recaps).
- Ability to quickly access Contracts (templates, active, closed, in-progress)
- The dashboard might also have high-level metrics and graphs that show calculating profitability, statistics etc.

02 Leads /Account Management: (Phone)
This is a full list of sales leads (A lead or an account is a company or person you are not yet doing business with).
- A user is able to view sales leads, and sales lead details
- Filter to priority items and search their leads or create a new one
- See if a Lead is nearby (on a map?)
- Message feed to collaborate within the sales team
- Access to the Advisor/Coach's Corner that links to an interactive sales coach that has tips and advice about the products and services.

03 Opportunity Detail: (Phone) 
This is the detailed view of an opportunity record. An opportunity is the chance to do business with an existing client.
- User will be able to see where the opportunity is at in a visual way
- Review and complete upcoming (automated) tasks
- Collaborate with a sales associate (co-worker) on the account.
- If an opportunity is nearby it alerts the user
- Map view

04 Campaign Management: (Phone and Tablet) 
- View the list of campaigns that were created to promote a product through different media, including television, radio, print and online platforms.
- Create a new campaign and manage existing campaigns
- The ability to trigger an existing campaign or assign a campaign to a customer to easily start sending them information
- The user will need to know the ROI (return on investment) they will get through the marketing campaign.

05 Pipeline and Revenue Forecasting: (Phone) 
- Looking for concepts on how to show the pipeline and revenue forecasting
- A pipeline is the list of leads (potential customers) that could possibly become an opportunity.
- These opportunities could possibly contribute to the overall revenue, thereby helps to forecast the revenue!

06 Profile: (Phone and Tablet)
- Access to the application is based on a user profiles/login
- Security is important!  

07 Other Unique Features (open to your suggestions): (Phone or Tablet)  
- Looking forward to some collaboration features such as internal messages, announcements, and client notes make for efficient and positive team collaboration!
- Cross-channel integration is one of the most important drivers for this application. We need to ensure that the final concepts incorporate this angle in some way or the other.
- Cross-channel example: The ability to be able to absorb information from multiple channels (emails, upstream/market feeds, text messages etc.) and be able to make use of it.

08 Application Logo
- Looking for a simple logo for this application (This is not the focus of this challenge)
- Use a simple acronym SLM, SFW etc.
- Come up with something simple and clean that does not distract from your screen designs (adds to the UI design)

09 Presentation Screen
- Big presentation on Friday!
- Provide highlights of your design in 16:9 presentation screen!

MarvelApp Presentation
- Provide a MarvelApp presentation of your design to help us understand your design concept.
- Request a MarvelApp prototype from systic (csystic@gmail.com) or adroc (adroc@topcoder.com).
- Provide the MarvelApp shareable link in your notes during submission upload.

Target Audience:
- The user is the Wealth Management "Client Advisor" a.k.a. "Financial Advisor" a.k.a. "Relationship Manager" a.k.a. "Private Banker"...
- This user will want to leverage this application to help manage his customers and the ability to take quick (automated) actions to engage with them.

Judging Criteria
- How well you plan the user experience and capture your ideas visually
- How well you simplify, refine and improve the overall experience
- Cleanliness of your graphics and design
- Creativity and simplicity are the keys to success as it must be engaging to users.

Submission File
Please upload JPG/PNG images in a zip file with all requested contest requirements stated above. Number your files (01, 02, 03, etc.) this will help review them in order

Source Files
All source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as a layered PSD file, or Adobe Illustrator as a layered AI file.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase, you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. We may ask you to update your design or graphics based on checkpoint feedback.

  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
