Challenge Summary

Welcome to Kickoff Event Theme and Logo Design Challenge!

We need your wise skills to help us in designing an overall theme and logo for a project. Basically you will be creating a brand new logo following given guidelines and also create a few slides to showcase it in a PPT ecosystem.

Best of luck!

Round 1

For your R1 deliverables please submit following items for client review:
1) Logo
2) PPT Template

Round 2

Final design will contain all following items plus any updates from client feedback:
1) Logo
2) PPT Template

The primary goal of this challenge is to design a unique logo for an internal sales conference that works as a kickoff event for the year to bring everyone together to get them excited, and to introduce and launch new products coming to the market in the following year. Additionally, to accommodate the logo and branding within PPT slides that will work as template for future presentation.

Concept Goals
- The purpose is to create excitement within the sales force of the company.
- To communicate a "theme" for the year, which will be continuously reinforced by the logo, graphics, PPT templates, etc. throughout 2018.
- The Logo/ graphics should be motivational in nature.

Requirements
1) Logo
Name/Theme
You must choose one of the following themes for the logo and design a graphic using those exact same words:
- Be the Change
- Play to Win 2018
- Bigger! Faster! Stronger!
* Multiple submissions are accepted but create ONE logo concept per submission (one choice for name/theme).

Styling
- You are allowed to use uppercase, lowercase or any font styling you can suggest.
- Be careful with gradients, as they will not be able to be easily reproduced across all media. You are allowed to use them on the full color version (see deliverables below), but make sure it will nicely translate to single/flat color.
- The logo should encapsulate the message of the logo design within three seconds of the first glimpse. Anyone who sees your logo for the first time should retain that image in their memory.

Deliverables
- Create the logo concept (s) on CMYK color mode. It must be created as VECTOR artwork so it can be resized without a loss of quality. Make sure your logo quality is not diminished when scaled up or down.
- Create a logo version as ONE color.
- Create a logo version as FULL color (several colors).
- Show the logos on a white and black background.

1.1) Branding Information
Provide the color palette of your logo (color CMYK codes and samples) plus font specs.

1.2) Purpose/meaning Note
Please provide us a graphic note with the meaning/purpose that will help us understanding your logo.

Note: A template like this sample could work for gathering all the requirements. Feel free to follow it or to come up with your own presentation as long as it contains the required items above.

2. PPT Template
Create PNG slides (not actual PPT file) at 1920x1080 canvas to showcase how you integrate the created logo in a presentation environment that we can use as a template.

It should take some design element or "feature" of the graphic created and show how that expands into various powerpoint slides such as color, additional graphics, charts, fonts, bullet points, usage of stock photo/images, links, etc.

Deliver the following as presentation screens:
2.1. Title/cover slide.
2.2. Content slide with text.
2.3. Content slide with columns of text.
2.4. Content slide with image and text.
2.5. Charts (bars, circle, etc) example slide.
* Any other you can come up with is appreciated.

Branding Guidelines
- Follow the provided guidelines for color.
- Additional accent colors are acceptable.
- Typography is open to suggestions.

References
- See previous year logo sample for reference. DO NOT COPY ANYTHING, as we’d like to see something NEW.
- See template examples for reference. Notice how they can start a new presentation from scratch by using the template resources. Again, for reference only. DO NOT COPY ANYTHING.

Target User
Internal annual sales kickoff meeting.
