Welcome to Bug Hunt & Bash challenge!

Bug Hunt

The Bug Hunt part will run according to the standard Topcoder Bug Hunt rules. Consider publication of this challenge as an early announcement. The actual details on the staff to test for bugs, and some additional rules, will be shared in the challenge forum on August 24, 9:00 EDT. The deadline for bugs submission will be August 28, 9:00 EDT. Each bug, which does not dublicate early submitted ones, will be assigned a score according to severity; the scores will be sumed up; competitors with the largest amounts of scores will get $500 and $250 prizes for the first and second places; other competitors will be paid $5 for each submitted bug that does not dublicate earlier submitted ones (but not larger than $250 per competitor).

Bug Bash

The Bug Bash part of the challenge will start from August 24, 9:00 EDT, will run in parallel with the Bug Hunt, and will finish on August 30, 9:00 EDT. It will run according to the standard Topcoder Bug Bash rules. The actual details on the Bug Bash will be shared in the challenge forum on August 24, 9:00 EDT.
