Challenge Overview

IMPORTANT NOTE: While running in the Code track, this challenge will be judged subjectively by the customer team. There will be no appeals during this challenge.

Here on Topcoder we have a huge community of experienced developers and designers. At some point in your careers many of you may have worked in an Agile environment. As more and more teams at John Hancock transition to an Agile delivery model they would like to learn from your experiences. In this challenge we are asking you to provide suggestions on the most powerful ways to track the effectiveness of Agile project managment.

Here are some questions we'd like your help answering to get you started:
  • What should be the primary goal for an agile team to accomplish? Is it productivity, speed of delivery or quality of delivery? Or, something else?
  • Find out if measures provided in the presentation are the correct measures. If yes, what benefit will they provide?
  • What additional measures will impact the productivity, speed of delivery and quality of delivery?
  • How to prioritize these measures?
  • Suggestions needed for any measurement that will yield better results and how is it going to impact the performance?
In addition to these questions there is a document posted to the forums which outlines some of the areas being measured today. Please use this to help refine your thinking - if you have experience reporting on or working towards those metrics, please share your experiences.
