Welcome to the "RUX - 72H Factory Fabric UI Design Challenge". In this challenge we are looking for your great design skills to quickly help us conceptualize and design a new tool to showcase Factory capabilities, and status of customer’s projects to customers and other stakeholders.

What is a RUX Challenge?
The RUX (Rapid User Experience) challenge uses the same format as our famous LUX Challenge except it is not "Live" at an event. The RUX Challenge Series provides you with an opportunity to show digital leaders from some of the largest companies in the world just how good your concept and user experience (UI/UX) design skills are.

RUX (Rapid User Experience) challenges are fast, fun, and have more chances for you to capture prize money!

Note: You do not need to have RUX challenge experience to join this challenge - Just jump in and give it a try! Make sure to follow the challenge details, the challenge forum and ask questions.
Background information
This challenge is focused on creating the initial UI design. We want customers to be inspired and enjoy the (simple) experience of:
- Select a factory
- View factory dashboards with KPIs
- View project summaries
- View project dashboards

Consider usign Bootstrap guidelines when designing your concepts. You will be focused on desktop screens for now, but have in mind that this application can be responsive in the future.

Required Screens:
1) Login Screen
    - Simple login screen to access the application.
    - Use the fields: User ID and Password.
    - Login button.
    - Normal login features: Recovery, forgot, etc.
    - No sign up/register features.

2) Factory Selection
    - After a successfully login users are taken to the "Factory Selection" screen.
    - On this screens users are able to select the factory from a list.
    - Wireframe is really simple on this screen, but remember this is a guide, no need to follow this layou exactly. We are lookg to improve the UI and UX on this screen widely, cosider the best practices here such like: tables views, thumbnails, factory names, search, filters, etc.

3) Factory Fabric Landing­ Stakeholder (Key screen)
    - This will serve as a landing page for each factory.
    - Think this as a high level dashbard for individual factories.
    - Each factory landing should have:
        - - High level KPI graphs for information like: Anual revenue, number of employees, number of projects, etc.
    - Users need to also be able to view and access different projects associated to that factory.

4) Project Summary
    - From factory landing page, users access to the project sumary page.
    - This page basically have all the information related to the selected project, such like: Project name, locations, start and end dates, customer point of contact, project manager, etc.
    - We need to show a way to access to 4 key sections, these are: Treatment Line View, Application View, Phase View and Resource View.

5) Project Dashboad
    - This screen content high level charts and KPI graphics for elements related to the project itself.
    - Please refer to page 6 for futher details.

6) Factory Throughput
    - SImilar to dashboard but even deeper in the high level of details.
    - This screen is like a zoomed level of the charts and KPIs from project dashboard.
    - Basically it shows the performace of the project throught a calendar year view.

7) Presentation Screen
    - As this is a RUX challenge, we need to quickly showcase your desing in a meeting.
    - So design a screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 showcasing your design. Do not add a logo or extra notes on this screen.
    - With just one screen is enough. No need to provide different presentation screens.

Users on this Application:
- Customer's Projects
- Stakeholders

Things to think about:
- Please consider the use of breadcrumbs whenever is necessary.
- Look for ways to improve the workflow. Wireframes are just to help you understand the meaning of this application, but if you find a better way to implement the workflow please do it.
- This design should be clean and minalist. Think on a corporate end use.
- Do not design a logo for this application. Just use a dummy logo or a placeholder. Real logo will be replaced later.
- You can use icons from icon8 and Flaticon. Just remember to declare the on your notes/declaration file.

- We have provide a drive folder with branding elements and fonts. Please, do not reinvent colors or use others fonts.

Screen Sizes (Important)
- Desktop: 1280px width or 2560px if you work on a retina display

Marvel Prototype
- We need you to upload your screens to Marvel App.
- Please request for your MarvelApp prototype in the respective thread in forum.
- You MUST include your Marvelapp URL (in your marvelapp prototype, click on share and then copy the link & share it with your notes/comment this link while you upload).

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Source Files
All source files of all graphics created in either Adobe Photoshop and saved as editable layer
 
Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase, you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
