Challenge Summary

Welcome to Manufacturing Performance Dashboard New Look Design Challenge

In this challenge, we are looking for your help to design the Performance Dashboard for a plant which has 7 Functional areas and 26 KPI’s associated with those 7 functional areas.

We are providing sketches that are illustrative of the concepts we want to see, but we do not want to constrain the ideas to the provided sketches. The sketches can work as wireframe on what data need to be included, you don’t need to copy paste the sketch as is.

Round 1

Checkpoint Submission Requirements:
Initial Manufacturing Performance Dashboard for these following screens on Desktop screen size
A) Summary Page
B) KPI Detail Page Daily View

Note: Feel free to submit more screens for early feedback

Round 2

Final Manufacturing Performance Dashboard for these following screens on Desktop screen sizes combined with Checkpoint Feedback
A) Summary Page
B) KPI Detail Page Daily View
C) KPI Detail Page Weekly View
D) KPI Detail Page Monthly View

General Requirements
- For this challenge, we are looking for innovative visuals which can get better end user buy in, and possibly make their interaction with the application very pleasing.                                                                                      
- The End users of this application are Plant (Manufacturing Operations Supervisors/ Plant Managers and VP - Operations)
- Create design that will boost the user experiences of Performance Dashboard Page.
- Put logo placeholder on your design page.  
- Make sure all elements/buttons/chart is easy to use/understand.
- All text on your submission need to be editable
- When you create icon/graphic, make sure they use vector shape format.
- Suggest best color palette for all dashboard pages.

Manufacturing Performance Dashboard New Look Design Page Requirements

A). Summary Page
Screen Reference: pdf pg.1
- This is Summary Page
- Summary page displaying as the landing page on Plant performance, which has Functional area’s (Example- Quality, Cost etc). For each functional expertise we have multiple KPI’s .
- You need display the logo placeholder on the left side
- Put Analytics Engine and Dashboard title
- Locate Plant will open to another Map page
- Search input need placed on top
- Refer the number indicator on screen for each required elements explained below:

1). KPI Quick Lockup Monitor
- This will be widget area for KPI Quick Lockup Monitor
- Display chart that indicate On Target, Vulnerable & Off Target status

2). Plant Status
- This will be area for Plant Status Healthy

3). Notifications
- Notification area will contains all KPI items
- Display number indicator above the icons
- Make sure you use consistent icons between the notification & the main content area
- Click one of the notification icon need display the Recent Notification flyover (Screen Reference: pdf pg.3)
- Notification need able to navigate per-week
- VIew all Notification placed on the bottom

4). All KPI Monitor
- Create all 7 KPI Monitor with separate details
- Design the best way to describe each KPI monitor
- Create random values based on design reference
- All KPI Monitor item need able to load to the detail page. See more detail information below

5). Profile Button
- Setting Icon and User thumbnail need placed on top right
- Click the Setting Icon need display the submenu for “Account Settings”, “Support” & “Logout” (Screen Reference: pdf pg.2)

6). Stability Monitor
- This will be a button to let user access the Stability Monitor quickly

Send Reminder Popup
- When user click on each KPI status need load popup that allow user to send the reminder
- Create 2 design version for the Send Reminder Popup that display different status
- Refer to Screen Reference: pdf pg.4 & Screen Reference: pdf pg.5

B) KPI Detail Page

- User landed to this page after click one of KPI Monitor on Dashboard Page
- This is detailed Screen for each KPI, Which measures the daily, weekly and Monthly performance.
- Display the main KPI monitor on the left side
- NRFT ppm information need display view button for Daily, Weekly & Monthly
- Set clear active state for the view button

1). Daily View

- Think about From & To input should works for different view
- Scenario Date, Target Value & Actual Value need clearly visible
- Feel free to suggest different chart to explain the informations for target and actual value
- Create flyover to display the conversation about the KPI monitor
- Print Report button place on the bottom

2). Weekly View

- This is Weekly View Look
- Think about From & To input should works for different view
- Scenario Week & Target Value need clearly visible
- Feel free to suggest different chart to explain the informations for a week
- Notice that green line for the Weekly Target value

3). Monthly View

Design Submission Formats:
a). Screen Sizes:

- Desktop Screen Size: 1280px(w) × 720px(h)

b). Design theme, colors, typography.
- Design Theme: Clean, Professional and Business-like design.
- Color palette is up to designer
- Fonts is up to designer

c). Submission Design Presentation
- As part of your submission, you must upload your submission to MarvelApp so we can provide direct feedback on your designs.

- Important! Make sure to include a URL/Link to your MarvelApp within your "notes.txt"

Preview Image

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
- Submit JPG/PNG image files based on Challenge submission requirements stated above.
- MarvelApp link for review and to provide feedback

Source Files
All source files of all graphics created in either Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/Sketch and saved as editable layer

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase, you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.

  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
