Welcome to FAST - 72HR Farmers Premium Quote Application Design Challenge

In this FAST challenge, we are looking for your help to create some design screen for Commodity Intelligence Market mobile application. The application purpose is to enable customers get premium quote for Umbrella Line of Business through Farmers Direct channel ( Farmers.com).

The goal of this challenge is to take the provided design problem, analyze the user experience and create design concepts by following existing design reference from client!

Round 1

Initial Farmers Premium Quote Application Design for these following pages on Desktop screen size only
1). Step 1: Capture basic Customer details.
2). Step 2: Request customer to fill the Auto policy details fields

Note: Feel free to submit more screens for early feedback

Round 2

Final Farmers Premium Quote Application Design for these following pages on Desktop & Mobile screen sizes combined with Checkpoint Feedback
1). Step 1: Capture basic Customer details.
2). Step 2: Request customer to fill the Auto policy details fields
3). Step 3:  Request user to enter additional exposure details
4). Step 4: Give customer a quote for Umbrella Insurance.

Design Work Flow Requirements
1). Step 1: Capture basic Custom
er details.
Fields need to be captured
- First Name   - Field Type Character
- Last Name   - Field Type Character
- Phone Number - Field Type Numeric
- Email ID
- Address  - Address Line 1 , Apt # ( Optional ) , City ,State , Zip
- Date Of Birth -  Field Type Date
- Gender – Radio Button with values Male/Female

2). Step 2: Request customer to fill the Auto policy details fields
Fields to be captured:
- Auto Policy Number
- Auto Policy BI Limits  - Type list with 4 different values ( 500/1000, 250/500, 500, 300)  
- Auto policy Expiry Date
- Number of Vehicles  - Type list with values 1 to 5

3). Step 3:  Request user to enter additional exposure details
- (Ex: Boats, Jet Skis). Default value to Zero and use should be able to edit. Should follow same flow as Farmers.com Home Quote
Fields to be captured:
- Exposure Name: Dropdown with values Boat , JetSki, Farm Equipment
- No of Units
4). Step 4: Give customer a quote for Umbrella Insurance.
- User should be presented with different Umbrella Liability limit options and their premium
- Different Liability Limits :
- $1,000,000
- $2,000,000
- $3,000,000
- $4,000,000
- $5,000,000

Design Submission Formats:
a). Screen Sizes:

- Desktop Standard: 1280px(w) × height as required
- Mobile Retina Portrait: 750px(w) × 1334px(h)

b). Design theme, colors, typography.

- You need to recreate some elements from this InvisionBoard for this challenge submission
- Fonts: Follow fonts that look identical with the provided InvisionBoard

d). Submission Design Presentation
- As part of your submission, you must upload your submission to MarvelApp so we can provide direct feedback on your designs.

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
- Submit JPG/PNG image files based on Challenge submission requirements stated above.

Source Files
All source files of all graphics created in either Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/Sketch and saved as editable layer

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase, you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.

  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

Fonts, Stock Photos, and Icons:

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.
