- Helps in identifying cloud transformation use case
- Helps determine which app is cloud-ready and which are not based on 5 steps process (listed below)
- It helps in decision by analyzing various factors of Application like: Cost, Architecture complexity, Technology stack, Business strategy, etc.

This EM uses 5 steps process as:
- Initial data like from external tool or spreadsheet
- Surveys covering areas like financial, technical and business with Yes & No options
- Cloud analysis dashboard
- Model deployment
- Export to Cloud service automation tool

Challenge Goals
- Redesigning and improve the UI/UX of selected screens from EM Tools
- Simplify the flow and make decision simple yet powerful which can be by adding any other data source (if required) and be plotting the data in a better way.

Documentation
- Screenshot of Current EM Tools Screens (EMaps _CloudTransformation UI.PDF)
- Detailed video covering all steps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LfPsE2m_u1Y

Screen Requirements
- We are looking to capture the improvements list that you offers in your designs. Feel free to add any Screens that you think is necessary to capture the user experience and flow.
- We are looking for a user experience that engages the user to understand the tools and possibilities of the site to achieve better end user understanding, and possibly make their interaction with the application very pleasing.

1) EM - Cloud Transformation Wizard Screens
- The key features of the EM tools are the 5 steps assessments that able to determine and suggest which all applications are Cloud ready which helps in cloud strategy.
- Left status sidebar, each column shows the count of artifact & surveys that are present in the EM
- Needs to show progress bar of the 5 steps assessment so the user can easily notice in which steps they are currently at.
- Tab at the bottom shows the overall status of applications (artifacts) present in EM with respect to Cloud Transformation Strategy.
- The 5 steps assessments details can be found below:

1.1) Import Data Screen (Desktop + Mobile)
Page 1 of EMaps _CloudTransformation UI.PDF

- The user will import a list of applications and their contact in this step.
- User can import contact, data centers, applications and Servers/VMs in this step
- The columns in main content show the various sources from where data can be imported into the EM tool.
- In each column, there will be several link options to choose the import data source.
- The current functionality to import data looks not efficient, is there any ways to make it more efficient?
- Is there any way to see the imported data? What if the data source beyond those 4? How can we handle it?
- The hyperlink on each column not very intuitive and not look like a clickable links/buttons, how can we improve it? And do we really need so much hyperlink in this screen?

1.2) Run Survey Screen (Desktop)
Page 2 of EMaps _CloudTransformation UI.PDF
- Cloud Assessment types (survey) which determine the application feasibility of migrating it to cloud.
- Three type of Survey, Technical assessment, Business Assessment, and Financial Assessment
- In each survey type, needs a button to trigger survey questionnaire for multiple apps at the same time
- In each survey type, show total number of app that is already assessed
- How can we see the survey list?
- Even though user already complete several app surveys, the button on each column still showing “Start Survey” that indicates no survey ever been done, how can we fix this?
- This area needs lot more innovation considering the survey covers major decision and impact on final take. Something like a decision tree, trend or anything more impactful that why some users are voting towards any application; can some more data be linked which help understanding users' decision pattern?

1.3) Analyze Result (Desktop)
Page 3 of EMaps _CloudTransformation UI.PDF
- EM will analyze the provided data and show the result in two ways:
- Cloud Transformation Heat Map and
- Cloud Transformation Status (Table list)
- The user can dig and see more details of each result analysis by clicking the result area.
- Heat Map (Hyperlink) highlighting the Annual Cost involved in a given application and the cloud migration compatibility status.
- Transformation Status (Hyperlink) showing the recommendation status of application
- The layout on this screen too crowded and look clutter. Any fresh approach considering scenarios like just a few apps or too many apps in eco-system. Any other thoughts like how to differentiate between non-critical application to system/business critical application and their trend based on received various inputs?

1.4) Model Deployment (Desktop)
Page 6 of EMaps _CloudTransformation UI.PDF
- Multiple options to model the application deployment in the cloud.
- How can we provide more clear information about the instructions for each column?

Page 4 of EMaps _CloudTransformation UI.PDF
- This screen shows more details of the result analysis in table/list view
- The table showing the assessment scores (survey), Annual hardware cost, Recommendation and the selected transformation strategy
- Needs to provide tabs showing the overview of the app assessment score (Create Assessment tab only for now)
- Migration recommendation is given by EM based on the Technical and Business assessment scores
- Annual hardware costs for hosting the app in the on-premise location
- Transformation decision adopted by the end user for each app based on the scores and also on the operational costs of the app.
