Challenge Summary

Welcome to the “Wipro Event Application Attendee and Admin Refinement Challenge”. We recently completed a couple of challenges to plan and design the Wipro Event Application. In this new design challenge we want to:
1) Admin View: Refine Admin user flow and add some missing requirements
2) Attendee View: Create the missing "Web Registration" screens.
3) Include any missing screens and functionality

We are providing the existing source files to be used as your base design(s). We are not looking to change the designs - just update, refine and complete the Event Application.

Important - we have two different design views here so do not be confused between the two.
1)  Admin View. Only Admins or people who have the authority to make changes will be using this application. Keep the interaction simple or easy to be learned. Realize that an Admin might be at the event and need to make "quick changes" on the the go… so things need to be simple and easy to find/change.

2) Attendee View: We currently have the mobile design but need to create a web-based registration flow to support the Mobile application.

Read the challenge specification carefully and let us know if you have any questions.

Round 1

Submit your initial design for a Checkpoint Feedback

As many updates / fixes you can complete for feedback
- List what has been completed

- As part of your checkpoint submission, you must upload your submission to MarvelApp so we can provide direct feedback on your designs. Please include the MarvelApp URL in your notes.txt.
- Make sure all pages have correct flow. Use the proper file numbers, (1, 2, 3, etc.)

Round 2

Submit your Final Design plus Checkpoint Updates

All updates/fixes and anything new from the Checkpoint
- List anything you might not have completed.

- As part of your final submission, you must upload your submission to MarvelApp so we can provide direct feedback on your designs. Please include the MarvelApp URL in your notes.txt.
- Make sure all pages have correct flow. Use the proper file numbers, (1, 2, 3, etc.)

Background Overview
The challenge is to refine parts of the "Admin" flow and to create new web-based "Attendee View" registration flow based on the requested updates.

Design Refinements

Attendee View Updates
1) Registration and Login

Attendee View Design Direction
- See https://marvelapp.com/b6j7ea9/screen/36739804 for design direction

We currently have Registration just on Phone. We need to create a Web-based Registration flow for users who will not be using mobile or for people who will be registering Attendees for someone else. Follow the mobile flow (and add the new items listed here)
- Registration pages to be made available on web
- This will be Desktop design
- Capture the login error look and feel
- Confirmation for success/fail on Registration

As part of an Event Registration the Attendee's can normally pre-register for event sessions or special sessions that they are invited to. As part of the web-based registration we also need to show the post registration questions.
- Once the user completes their registration and fill in their profile they will be take to the Event page. We will then collect additional information that relates to the Event.
- Airline in which the person is travelling
- Spouse accompanying or not. If yes, then collect the email id.
- Hotel details

They will also be able to opt-in for immediate special sessions like Golf, Kayaking or pre or post event (daily) parties.
- These will be shown like administered like sessions but with additional graphics
- These will appear as options during Event Registration (based on who they are)

Admin View Updates
1) Navigation Updates

Admin View Design Direction
- See provided design and source files
- MarvelApp Link: https://marvelapp.com/5dc4b76/screen/36801908
- Also see notes in the MarvelApp
- Correct the navigation for all pages. Review the navigation and make sure it seems correct to you...and the flow makes sense to you. If you have questions ask us.
- We are providing updates on individual pages based on the navigation updates/descriptions below.

Top-Level Navigation (Top of the screen)
Dashboard

https://marvelapp.com/5dc4b76
- This links to the main "All Events" Dashboard and allows the Admins to see what is going on across events and what might be coming up. They will be able to take quick action and know what the latest/upcoming session are (in case they need to make edits)

Events
- This is a link to a list of Events (https://marvelapp.com/5dc4b76/screen/36816310)

Users
- This is a link to the list of Admin users (https://marvelapp.com/5dc4b76/screen/36833938)
- Move this to the far right/end of the navigation
- Add: Similar to the other page all user should be able to be contacted or only some. Use the same design pattern of selection and contact.

Reports
- This links to the Reports (https://marvelapp.com/5dc4b76/screen/36838189)

Engagements
- Add this to the navigation
- Add: This allows the Admins to create engagements (polls, surveys) that they can add to an Event or Session at a later time. This also allows them to manage (edit, delete) engagements.

Alerts
- Keep this

Username
- Keep this

2nd-Level Navigation (Events)
- User can click into an event (https://marvelapp.com/5dc4b76/screen/37054008) and they see the Event Dashboard.

Dashboard
- This is the Event Dashboard.
- It captures Event level statistics and action items. It will show upcoming Event Sessions

Edit Event
- This allows the Admin to Edit the Event (https://marvelapp.com/5dc4b76/screen/36831136)
- Add: Admin should have the option to create custom icons to be shown in the event page - like CEO’s award etc. (See the Attendee view to understand this request)
- Add: Organizer should be able to add crew members at the Event level (people that would be listed within the Admin User roles). This way they can allocate work to them on the Event.
- Add: Customization of the event should be its own tab/called out separately so it's easier to manage.
- Add: Additional section that the Admin can add: places near by, base hotel where the event is taking place.
- Edit: Invited List: https://marvelapp.com/5dc4b76/screen/36901728 Similar to the other areas bulk emailing and features need to be added here.

Sessions
- Add this navigation item here
- Allows the Admin the view and bulk edit the Sessions
- Add: When the organizer creates a session, he should be able to define the user type who will be able to attend the session (ex: only attendees, all, external speaker + attendees).
- Add: The organizer should be able to create special session (like breakout sessions) only for specific sponsors/clients/partners etc. In fact for each session the admin should be able to upload an attendee list.
- Add: Bulk modification option to be given to the admin for making changes in the sessions.
- Need to be able to edit Sessions, Edit session times so each session after auto adjusts its time. It also will let us know of conflicts or issues. (They currently use and excel spreadsheet to make modifications so we need this to be a smart app/be able to make some quick bulk edits)
- Add: At the Session level we want to be able to bulk upload photos. So say the session is going on we want to be able to go to the session and immediately upload images (at the live event)
- Refine: Many sessions will be breakout sessions, with limited seat capability. The admin should be able to see how many seats have been blocked and how many people are waitlisted etc

Attendees
- Fix the navigation
- This shows all (specific to this) Event Attendees
- Can filter by sessions if needed
- Add: Show if people are linked (Spouses or other people from the same company).
- Add: Select people who are linked and sync their schedules
- Add: Upload schedule for a spouse.

Reports
- Admin can run reports on the event (https://marvelapp.com/5dc4b76/screen/36835006)

Engagements
- This is Event Level Engagements
- Capture Feedback/FAQ here (so tabs within Engagements)
- This is Engagements for the overall Event - not for individual Sessions.
   -  Show the concept of wall in little more details. Wall should enable the user to upload comments, photos etc and then others can comment etc. Similar to FB wall.
