Welcome to the “Doppler Event and Survey Management App Design Challenge ”. Doppler is one of the leading communications service providers in Asia. They prepare for the future by developing the skills and talent of all their employees, making Doppler a great place to work. In this challenge, we are looking for you to provide design concepts for their mobile app which can be used by their employees. Through this app, employees can have access to events based on specific location and can even take a survey and give feedback post the event.

Background Overview
This challenge is about conceptualising and designing an engaging and informative mobile app for employees. Through this app employees should be able to register to an event specific to their location. Employees can then attend events, take part in challenges, they can even pick up points by regularly interacting with the app. They should also be able to take surveys and give feedback post the event.

User Persona
Linda is a 25 year old Doppler employee who head starts in the company as a Management Associate. She is young, dynamic and always looking to develop the necessary skills that is required to succeed in a leadership role. Doppler provides such enthusiasts, opportunities to grow and develop their skills by giving them access to their events in various locations through their mobile app. The app basically pulls content from their intranet and replicates the content on phone. The app provides list of events and event details based on particular location.

Linda logs in to the app and based on her location, the app provides information relevant to her. She browses through list of events and registers to those that interests her. Linda also gets to collect points whenever she interacts with the app, attends the events or even when she completes a challenge. After the event, Linda gets to fill a feedback form or complete a quarterly leadership survey form which can be anonymous or can be tracked by the department.

Design Considerations
- Focus on the user experience and interactions
- The interface needs to be intuitive and engaging. A user should be able to easily understand how to use this app.
- Design interface needs to be simple, clean and modern.

Required Pages/Features
For this challenge, we are looking for below mentioned pages. The screen functionality details listed below are suggested functionality for consideration. Do not allow the suggestions below to impact the creativity of your design.

1. Login
- Employees login through their company intranet
- Capture the login error look and feel

2. Profile
- Create their profile
- Provide information like name, designation, company location, contact, etc. Feel free to add any other information that you feel is important.
- Employees should be able to “Subscribe” to topics that they are interested in. Some examples of topics can be news about IT department, game events, coffee promotions etc

3.Dashboard
- Capture employee activities
- List registered events. For example: Gaming events, promotional events, ted talk, session, webinars etc
- List of challenges that they have taken part in. For eg. challenges ranging from game challenges, coding challenges etc.
- Points collected
- Push notifications, for eg: event reminders, upcoming sessions etc
- Intranet stories
- Feeds based on their preference and location

4.Event Management
- List of upcoming / current / past events
- Register for an event
- Check-in (possibly via QR code)
- Employee should be able to see Schedule, maps, attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, hotel, wifi etc
- Q&A tool. Employees should be able to post questions and get answers
- Feedback form to provide their feedback

5.Surveys & Questionnaires
- Employees should be able to answer surveys & questionnaires both anonymously and not
- Employees might be asked to complete a feedback form post-event (anonymous survey) or complete a quarterly leadership survey form (tracked by department).

6.Gamification & Rewards
Employees should be able to Pick up “points” through interaction within and outside the app
- Employees should be able to pick up points by regularly interacting with the app.
- They should also get points for attending events and competing in challenges.

Important:
- Keep things consistent. This means all graphic styles should work together.
- All of the graphics should have a similar feel and general aesthetic appearance

- Stock artwork and icons are allowed for this challenge.
- Make sure to declare all your assets properly or you might fail screening.
- Check the branding guidelines!

MarvelApp Prototype
- You need to upload your screens to Marvel App.
- You can request for your Marvel App link by posting on forum or by sending a mail to Challenge Copilot
- Remember to include your Marvel app URL in your Notes or Declaration document while uploading your submission.

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Submit JPG/PNG for your submission files.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator or Sketch. Layers should be named and well organized.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase, you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. We may ask you to update your design or graphics based on checkpoint feedback.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
