Challenge Summary

Welcome to the ALL NEW Topcoder DViz - Tableau Dashboard Creation Challenge!
We recently ran a design challenge in our “Topcoder DViz” series to design "Tableau Dashboards" that will help analyze measures to identify workplace environments that demonstrate a risk of corruption, fraud, or other non-compliant or unethical behavior.

In this NEW type of challenge, we are asking you to implement the designs within the Tableau Platform.

Get started with your Tableau Dashboards by learning/researching about Tableau (please find the link to Tableau references videos to get started), we are really excited to see your submissions for this challenge.

This is the first of many Tableau Challenges! We are looking to learn from this challenge (so ask questions!) and we have a Wipro Tableau expert available for questions.

Round 1

Submit your initial tableau for a Checkpoint Feedback
02 Trend Analysis - Voluntary Termination
04 Pulse (Rule-Based)

- Please submit the link to your tableau

Round 2

Submit your Final Design plus Checkpoint Updates
01 Landing Page
02 Trend Analysis - Voluntary Termination
03 Trend Analysis - Exit Interview?
04 Pulse (Rule-Based)
05 Sentiment Analysis

- Please submit the link to your tableau

In this challenge, we are looking for you to implement the provided dashboard designs in Tableau.

Documentation:
- Dashboard Designs from the design challenge

Data / Tables:
- We are looking for you to come up with the data/ tables from the provided dashboard designs and use them as the input for tableau to create your dashboards!

Tableau Software, Dashboards and Publishing your dashboards for reviewing:
- To create dashboards in Tableau, you will need to register and download a trial version (14 days trial version) of Tableau desktop software (In future challenges we are looking to offer licenses)
- Tableau allows you to create interactive dashboards that help answer questions or visualize based on requirements (example: show a trend analysis on a Quarterly basis, for the Voluntary termination percentage, etc)
- Once you have created the dashboards, you will be required to publish them on to Tableau online for us to review, so please register yourself here for a trial version of Tableau online
- You can publish your dashboard by going into “Server > Publish Workbook”, in the dialog use Tableau online as a server (you will need to login to your Tableau online account)

Getting Started with Tableau
- If you are new to Tableau, take a look at this quick video to learn: https://www.Tableau .com/learn/training
- Also, we suggest you go through these webinars which will really improve your skills in Tableau: https://www.Tableau .com/learn/webinars
- To create a dashboard, you need to create required worksheets and then include them in the dashboards and follow the layout/design as shown in provided dashboard design. Take a look at this quick videos to get started on dashboards

Use Case
- To implement measures to identify workplace environments that demonstrate a risk of corruption, fraud, or other non-compliant or unethical behavior. Based on the datasets we are looking for you to design we will eventually track patterns of misconduct.

Analysis of Voluntary Termination Analysis and Sentiments.
- Termination in the company can be Voluntary or Involuntary. While exiting the company, a lot of people fill an Exit Form where they put feedback about their manager and the organization. The quantitative questionnaire is there to understand the feedback.
- Based on those questions and the Data model, certain rules are applied in order to analyze the work environment.

Dashboards:
Below is the list of screens/dashboards we are looking to implement.
01 Landing Page:
Reference: 00-Landing-page.png
This is page will have quick links to the dashboards, there are four dashboards:
1) Trend Analysis - Voluntary Termination
2) Trend Analysis - Exit Interview
3) Pulse (Rule-Based)
4) Sentiment Analysis

02 Trend Analysis - Voluntary Termination:
Reference: 1-0-Voluntary_Termination.png
- Purpose of this is to do trend analysis on a Quarterly basis, for the Voluntary termination percentage
- Voluntary Termination percentage can be calculated as Count of Voluntary Termination/ Total Headcount.
- The broad dimensions that need to be considered for all analysis: Location, Business Unit, and function.
- All trends show an average, median, mode values
- At the top, each of the trends has additional options (1-4-Voluntary_Termination-option.png) - so clicking on it show "chart, table (1-5-Voluntary_Termination-table.png), insights (1-6-Voluntary_Termination-Insight.png), Fit on screen (1-7-Voluntary_Termination-Fit-on-screen.png).
- We need to implement the filters as in 1-3-Voluntary_Termination-show-filter.png

Location Trends:
- This shows the percentage distribution based on the region
- Under 2.5 % is shown in red
- Over 2.5 % in green
- We show these for different quarters
- Hover will show the region with percentage as shown in 1-2-Voluntary_Termination-hover.png

Business Unit Trends:
- This shows the percentage distribution based on the Business Units
- Under 2.5 % is shown in red
- Over 2.5 % in green
- We show these for different quarters
- Hover will show the region with percentage as shown in 1-2-Voluntary_Termination-hover.png

Function Trends:
- This shows the percentage distribution based on the Functions
- Under 2.5 % is shown in red
- Over 2.5 % in green
- We show these for different quarters
- Hover will show the region with percentage as shown in 1-2-Voluntary_Termination-hover.png

03 Trend Analysis - Exit Interview:
Reference: 2-1-Exit_Interview.png
- Purpose of this is to do trend analysis on a Quarterly basis, for the Exit Interview percentage
- Exit Interview percentage can be calculated as Count of Exit interview/ Count of Voluntary Termination.
- The broad dimensions that need to be considered for all analysis: Location, Business Unit, and function.
- All trends show an average, median, mode values
- At the top, each of the trends has additional options (1-4-Voluntary_Termination-option.png) - so clicking on it show "chart, table (1-5-Voluntary_Termination-table.png), insights (1-6-Voluntary_Termination-Insight.png), Fit on screen (1-7-Voluntary_Termination-Fit-on-screen.png)
- We need to implement the filters as in 1-3-Voluntary_Termination-show-filter.png
