Design Problem
Our community is doing a fantastic job identifying and finding bugs in applications as part of our Bug Hunt challenges.  Now we need a better way to surface the results to our end clients so they can easily be amazed at the results of our challenges!

In this design competition you will be responsible for create a one page dashboard that will eventually fit into the Connect platform to illustrate the results of one or more bug hunt challenges.

For this challenge, is important you follow the Topcoder Connect GUI KIT and you have to work in Sketch to be able to reuse the components from there. This dashboard page, will stay in Connect so we want to keep consistency across all Connect pages.

Right now we have a similar dashboard for the Marathon Matches, but keep in mind this dashboard MUST match Connect look and feel, so you have to follow the Topcoder Connect GUI KIT and work in Sketch to be able to reuse the components from there. We want to keep consistency across all Connect pages so we have included a couple of design pages in Connect for style reference (widget style, layout etc.)

On this dashboard a user can see the information related to one or more challenges. When a client runs a bug hunt challenge, we want to show him the following data in real time:

  1. Status of the challenge (time frame) number of identified issues, number of accepted issues, # of registrants, # of submitters (similar to the bar on the marathon match)
  2. Geography Map: to see the locations of all participants around the world, show us a better map with relevant information & coloring on it
  3. Number of issues by severity (P1, P2, P3, P4,P5): chart  (could be a bar chart type, but see what works best)
  4. Number of issues by browser (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari): chart  (can be a stacked bar chart type, but see what works best)
  5. Number of issues by status (Open, Accepted, Closed): chart (can be a stacked bar chart type, but see what works best)
  6. Number of issues by label (Accepted, Accessibility #1, Accessibility #2, Accessibility #3, Accessibility #6, Accessibility #7, Android v.5, Android v.6, Android v.7, Android v.8, Android v.8.1, Can't Reproduce, Crash, Duplicate, Functional, Incomplete, Invalid, UI, UX/Enhancement, UX/Enhancement Accepted, Won't Fix): chart (can be a stacked bar chart type, but see what works best)
We envision all these as being different widget types and then user will have the option to click on each to view more details. When the client looks at this dashboard, we don’t want just to show nice widgets, but rather tell a story of how the bug hunts are evolving form one day to another so client can see the progress of the community fixing bugs. Think how to prioritize the information you are showing. Check this good example, of how the stats show a story from most important to least important.
We have attached a document with sample data/charts.
