About Beacon DAM App (Disaster Assessment Manager)
After a storm, technicians are assigned to an area within the client’s network to assess the damages. We are building an app so that these agents can document the problem, the location, the tools & materials needed to fix it, and submits a ticket or request for a partner contractor to do the repairs.

User Workflow
After a natural disaster such as a hurricane, the client’s field agents are dispatched to locations that were affected by the storm to assess any damages.
If there is an issue the user should be able to document the problem by adding notes, photos, and videos of the situation.
The location of the fault should also be visually noted on a map.
A shopping cart like tool allows the user to create a list of what is needed to complete the repair.
When this work order is submitted, it creates a request for the client’s construction coordinator to send to their partner contract companies.

User Profiles
Tablet application will be used by technicians in outdoor environments, sometimes in harsh conditions.  So be mindful of that when thinking about the overall user experience.

Features
There will be an accompanying web portal which shows number of issues on the system, and view field notes. This is NOT in scope for this challenge but its helpful to know how the details captured by this application are consumed.

Screen Requirements
- Use this requirement document as a reference when designing the screens.
- Your design submissions must contain all features mentioned above. Be creative with the user workflow to create a better user experience for technicians working outdoors in crisis situations, possibly in crisis!

1). Take pictures and videos
- Allows the user to upload and edit photos and videos
- Allow use of the user’s camera and access to the gallery, please show how the photos and videos are added to the work order and edited

2). Select a location/readjust a pin location
- User can select a location/readjust a pin
- Show us how this function works?
- Add notes

3). Select Issue (shopping cart)
- A shopping cart like tool which allows the user to select the equipment & materials needed to make the necessary repairs
- The equipment and materials come in quantities and lengths. And that would be a part of the shopping cart feature. Equipment would be ordered in quantities, and material, such as cable, would be ordered in lengths.
- Based on a user’s selection, makes suggestions of other items that might be needed for the job

4). Submit to a Disaster Layer
The user should receive a confirmation message alerting them that the issue has been successfully logged - or a failure.

5). Add length tracking measurement
Only relevant when a user has selected something that has a length. The user can enter the length manually or will also have the ability to capture the length using GPS. If they select using GPS, a screen will display showing them a map and a button that says the equivalent of “start tracking”. Once “start tracking” is selected, an icon on the map will be shown with te users current location and displaying the distance captured in feet - it will naturally start at 0.  As the user walks, the map will show the path  the user has walked with the distance traveled. The user will then select “stop tracking” when complete and the distance they’ve traveled will be what is entered into the length of the selected feature.
