Challenge Summary

In this challenge, we need your creative skills and help us create a modern and intuitive user interface that allows users (physicians) to track the order status and view order results for patients under their care. Through the order results, the application will also assist physicians in determining which antibiotics to prescribe to patients.

Background Overview
The purpose of this project is to develop a mobile application (for iPad) that will be used by Physicians to track the order status and view order results for all the patients they have under their care. Through the order results, the application will also assist Physicians in determining which antibiotics to prescribe to patients.

Challenge Goal
Create a new look and feel that able to help the user of this application to be easily tracking the order status and help decide on which antibiotics to prescribe to patients.

Design Consideration
- New, Professional, and Modern look and feel.
- Simplicity to view and add necessary information 
- iPad Native application (Follow iPad Design Best Practice) 
- Easy to understand flow from page to page
- Intuitive for the user; should never be left asking "what do I do next?"
- Simple, clean, modern.
- Easy viewing for pages that may be over overcrowded with information (eg. when hovering over an item will enlarge for easy viewing or similar)

Screen Requirements
For this challenge, we are looking for the below pages to be designed/considered in your concepts. The screen functionality details listed below are suggested functionality for consideration. Do not allow the suggestions below to impact the creativity of design. If there is a better way to accomplish the same goal, then feel free to take creative liberties.

0) General Requirements
- Provide simple logo for the application 
- User will be able to perform a new search from any page
- Application will adhere to branding requirements set forth in design guide documents
- User will be able to go back to previous page, or back to home page from any screen

1) Login Screen
No Wireframe
- User will need to log in first before able to use the application
- Ordinary form login (username/password) with several options like Forgot Password, Register, etc?
- Provide error scenario where user enter wrong credential

2) Dashboard Screen

- Main Screen where user will be landed after successfully login to the app
- User will be able to search a patient name or ID, or scan patient code
- The user will be able to navigate to separate pages displaying tests (similar to search results), for the following:
-- Recently Viewed (last 10 tests viewed by user)
-- Your Attending (tests in which the patient is being attended by user)
-- Your Ordered (tests ordered by user)
-- Your Admitted (tests in which the patient was admitted by user)
- Beneath each option, display the number of results

3) Search Screen

- Search will allow Type-ahead functionality (Auto complete suggestion)
- User will be able to search only patients for which they are attending, admitted, or have ordered a test 
- In the Search result, user will be able to see listing of patient name, ID, DOB, their tests, specimen type, current status, and estimated completion date/time
- Under "Current Status", we need to show the patient status (which phase that already completed and not completed) 

4) Recently Viewed Screen

- This screen will be used as a layout base for the following screens:
-- Recently Viewed (last 10 tests viewed by user)
-- Your Attending (tests in which the patient is being attended by user)
-- Your Ordered (tests ordered by user)
-- Your Admitted (tests in which the patient was admitted by user)
- The appearance of this screen will almost similar with search result screens, only it will show different content. 

5) Patient Order Status Screen (IMPORTANT!)

- You need to use the content for each phase from "Content - Synapsys Mobile App Patient Data Set.xlsx"
- On this screen, all phases will be displayed, with a different color or highlighting distinction between the completed and yet to be completed phases
- Upon selection of a test/order, user will be able to view the following:
-- Current status/phase
-- Estimated completion date for each phase (For ex, Innoculation, Gram Stain, Preliminary ID, Final ID, Organism AST, etc)
-- Patient information: Patient name, ascension #, and protocol (needs some hint)
-- Culture Data Results (i.e. "Specimen Received in Laboratory", "Moderate Gram Positive Cocci", "Light Growth Eschericia coli", etc.) will be displayed on the results page
-- Relevant/appropriate antibiogram for the current phase
-- The antibiograms will implement a heatmap covering the full range of the values
-- Time of last update, Also include expected time of completion for next phase/step
- From the test results page, user will be able to toggle which phases they would like to receive alerts for
- User will be able to leave a comment on the test results (only placeholder required at the moment)
- Once all phase complete, the application will show suggestion of “treatment advisories” to the user where user can see what kind of antibiotic prescription that suitable for the patients. 

Important:
- Keep things consistent. This means all graphics styles should work together.
- All of the graphics should have a similar feel and general aesthetic appearance

Source Files
All source files of all graphics created in either Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator (might need to convert it to photoshop later) or Sketch and saved as an editable layer
 
Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase, you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
