Challenge Summary

Welcome to the Typography Poster – A Design Month Fun Challenge!

In this challenge we are looking to create some cool typography artwork related to our community. This should be a fun and creative challenge.

Besides top 3 placements, we will be awarding for place 4th and 5th a Topcoder t-shirt.

BUT THAT’S NOT ALL!!
We have a special bonus prize of $50 for each new member that submits to a design challenge and gets any of the placements from 1st to 3rd. A new member is defined as a member who didn’t submit in any design challenge before.

Read the challenge specification carefully and watch the challenge forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. Feel free to ask any questions in the challenge forum!
Designers, this is a Design Month Fun Challenge! There is no desired outcome, no specific colors or ideas, but just a chance for you to have some fun and design something super cool!

For this challenge, we are asking you to use typography in a meaningful way to create some awesome posters. Your design can be as simple as a message for the community, or to a fellow designer to more complex as maybe make the face of one of the admins using different words. The exploration is big and the only thing we ask you to follow is to keep this related to our community or site. The posters will be up for voting by the community and the best one will win a T-Shirt.

Use the following examples as inspiration of what you could do, but don’t copy them:
-       Design Your Way
-       Pinterest
-       Webneel
-       Inspiration from other sources
-       Inspiration Feed

Think about how to use the hierarchy, kerning, white space and different fonts to achieve a great result. The designs can have a 3D look or a 2D look or they can be combined with photos in a clever way like here. We’re expecting to be amazed!

We’re going to print the best top 10 posters to display at the Indonesia event so many of you will have the chance to see them on a large scale!
