Challenge Summary
As part of the design month, we’re launching a fun opportunity to get creative with a T-Shirt design for a school. Kids from the classroom provided some sketches about a mascot they want to see printed in a shirt to be proudly worn. Are you up to the challenge of helping these kids to bring to life their idea? Jump in now!
The goal of this competition is to come up with the design of a superhero mascot for a t-shirt. You are provided with a concept and templates to work with.
This project is also a fun way to introduce the younger generation to the concept of crowdsourcing. The copilot will give a talk to the kids about what is going to happen, plus the children will be the ones looking at the submissions and picking winners. This is an overall fantastic way do something good and be creative.
Design Requirements
- Design on a black, or white, or gray t-shirt. Pick your choice to best fit with your design. You must use the provided t-shirt template.
- Design area should only be on the front and back center, nothing on the sleeves or at the bottom of the shirt. You can put your design either on the front or on the back or both.
- Design a fun mascot to be placed within the design. The school mascot is a Gull. The theme is superhero. You should combine these elements to come up with something fun the kids are going like.
- Kids provided a sample design of what they envisioned as the possible output. You should try to integrate this into the design.
