Challenge Overview

Note: No coding is required for this challenge! Anyone can compete :)

In the previous challenges, we covered the Connect platform with E2E testing.

In this challenge, we would like you to explore the new features of the next release of the Connect platform and create the test scenarios/cases for those new features.

You may use the instance deployed in the development environment (connect.topcoder-dev.com) or you can clone the repo (https://github.com/appirio-tech/connect-app) and run the app locally.

Make sure to use the dev branch if you deploy the app locally.

You will find a spreadsheet with the list of the new features that the next release will contain.

Each row in the spreadsheet has a status column which indicates if the feature is already developed, if it’s currently in development or if it’s ready for development.

For all developed items, you need to provide the exact steps on how to test them but for the items that have “in development” or “ready for development” status, you will just have to provide the high-level idea on how to test them based on the feature description.

You need to cover the following testing types:

  • GUI & Navigation

  • Field data validation

You will find login credentials and a sample test scenarios on the challenge forum.

You need to follow the same format.

Note: For this challenge, we target only common scenarios. We don’t need to cover every edge case.

The copilot and the PM of this project will review the submissions using the subjective scorecard.

Any, invalid submission will be ignored.

There will be no appeals / appeals response phases.

Feel free to ask any questions on the challenge forum.

Final Submission Guidelines
