Challenge Summary

Welcome to the "RUX - 72HR PCP iConnect Design Concepts Challenge"! We are looking to explore new concepts and UI/UX design for a new responsive application for “Service Provider” and “Care Provider” to give better service to the customer. We are looking for your best (new) ideas and concepts!

What is a RUX Challenge?
The RUX (Rapid User Experience) challenge uses the same format as our famous LUX Challenge except it is not "Live" at an event. The RUX Challenge Series provides you with an opportunity to show digital leaders from some of the largest companies in the world just how good your concept and user experience (UI/UX) design skills are.

RUX (Rapid User Experience) challenges are fast, fun, and have more chances for you to capture prize money!

Note: You do not need to have RUX challenge experience to join this challenge - Just jump in and give it a try! Make sure to follow the challenge details, the challenge forum and ask questions.

The goal of this challenge is to take the provided design problem, analyze the user experience and provide design concepts and visual ideas on how the application might look and work!
 
Background Information
ACME is a multinational healthcare provider operates worldwide. They wanted to build a connected application for service provider and care provider to give better service to the customer.

“Service Provider” is a Hospital
“Care provider” are small clinics, pharmacy or laboratories
The overall goal of the project  is to create a system (application) which supports the integration and connectivity between Point of Care instruments located at primary care sites and central services provided typically in a hospital / clinic.
 
User Journey
If you check the wireframes - There are two types of users there
A. Service Provider
B. Primary Care Provider

User journey starts with “Service Provider” (Refer Wireframe)
Screen 1: User Login
Screen 2: Landing page / Dashboard : It will show some data and graphs for Customer Records, Gateway Status, Instruments (like glucometer, ecg device, any devices related to hospitals) status and User status
Screen 2a: Navigation Page : Where service provider can choose primary care provider management option
Screen 3: PCP Mgmt page: Here service provider can able to see all primary care providers details. They can do edit delete, download data. They can also onboard new service provider using add option
Screen 4: Onboarding screen: they need to provide user profile - location details, review and add the provider to the application

Once Service provider registers the “Care Provider”, they are able to login in their account using registered mail id (Refer Wireframe)

Screen 2: Dashboard : Where they can able to see their own device status, service records, gateway status and device performances in cool graphs
Screen 2a: Navigation
Screen 3: They need to configure Wifi, CI1K and EMR. These all three are one time process to setup per care provider, Care provider need to enroll devices they need, Gateway installation or device registration success screen
Screen 4: Device Management Screen - They can see list of all devices. They can add, delete, edit, view devices.

Design Consideration
- Use the name “iConnect” as your app name.
- Do not use client name or logo anywhere in your design, if you figure out who is. Important.
- Think about the Customer Experience (your experience!)
- Easy to monitor data, setup and onboarding experience, filter and search information.
- Should be clean, open, and modern looking
- Streamlined design and user flow
- Show us new concepts and ideas for how things could be designed and function. Think of how it is currently shown in the wireframe and if there is a better way to interact with this information.
- We want you to explore ideas beyond the wireframes. This is important!
- Think on modern and easy to use solutions.
- We are open and looking for your ideas and solutions. Remember the application should remain easy to use, fast, and not cumbersome for the user.

- In a RUX challenge, this screen is the way to showcase your concept so keep it simple and make it look good!
- If you were walking into a meeting and needed to sell your idea - use this screen to showcase your concept.
 
General Requirements
Screen Sizes

- This application is going to be a responsive application but on this challenge you will be focused on “Desktop” devices:
- Provided wireframes are in Tablet View. Please optimize it accordingly for Desktop
- Use 1280px width and height increasing when is necessary.
- Think Mobile First when designing.
- Use proper grid layouts and correct sizes for all elements.

Branding and Wireframes
- As this is NDA challenge you will find all this information in forum once you are registered on this challenge.
 
Marvel Prototype - Important
- We need you to upload your file into Marvel App.
- We want to use Marvel App to provide direct and fast feedback! We can also track your design updates and screen versions within Marvel App!
- No additional functionality is required! Just make sure your screen(s) are in the correct viewing order (number them 00, 01, 02, 03, etc.)
- You must include your Topcoder Marvel App URL within your .Notes file
 
Judging Criteria
Your submission will be judged on the following criteria:
- Overall new concepts and execution/design of your concepts
- How well does your design align with the objectives of the challenge
- Execution and thoughtfulness put into the solving the problem
- Overall design and user experience
- Cleanliness of screen design and user flow

Preview Image

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.
 
Submission File

Submit JPG/PNG for your submission files.
 
Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as a layered PSD file, or Adobe Illustrator as a layered AI file or Sketch!
 
Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase, you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. We may ask you to update your design or graphics based on checkpoint feedback.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

Fonts, Stock Photos, and Icons:

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.

All submissions are screened for eligibility before the challenge holder picks winners. Don't let your hard work go to waste. Learn more about how to  pass screening.
