Challenge Overview
We need our Topcoder competitors’ ideas and expertise to build a robust UX experience for our client, Panalpina. The client’s current systems only display tabular milestone information including the ETA and event history for the shipment.
Currently, users copy and paste tracking information provided by Panalpina into a third-party real-time tracking website.
Panalpina wishes to interface with a real-time airline and ship tracking websites to display the current location of shipments and at the same time modernize the look and feel of the interface making it more engaging for their customers.

As a user, I want to enter in a tracking number I have been provided so that I can see the current location of my shipment on a map.
We have included database extracts of both air freight and sea freight information. To get an idea of how it currently works, simply enter one of the values from the first column of either of the Excel sheets (i.e. HAWB for air, HB/L for ocean) into the tracking box on the Panalpina homepage. The end goal of this Ideation challenge is to have an assortment of different ideas to present to the client on how to best move forward building this feature of their website. We want to know which web resources to use, and how we can get the best results with minimal searching.
Solution criteria will be as few clicks for the user as possible for the best possible information, how creatively the data coming from the tracking websites is used, and how this is proposed to improve the customer experience. The solution must be in real-time!

Technology Stack
This is largely pseudo-code and text but the client primarily uses Java and Angular 6.
Submission Requirements
In a .txt, or .md file, please include:
- Pseudo-code or other detailed blueprint of how your solution would work
- The steps you would take to build your solution
- Necessary components of your solution (various APIs, etc.)
Important Notes
Please be aware that the submissions will be reviewed by the client, so the review phase will be longer than normal, and possibly extended. Reviews will also be subjective.
