Challenge Summary

Welcome to the "Fast - Profitable Growth Bonus App Design Challenge"! We are looking to explore UI/UX design (Responsive Web) for our new application that will provide Internal Employee and Insurance agents the ability to track their bonus growth performance and also able to do forecasting using various scenario to improve their performance. We are looking for the best UI/UX for the application in this challenge.

Round 1

Submit your initial design for a Checkpoint Feedback (Desktop and Mobile)

- As part of your checkpoint submission, you must upload your submission to MarvelApp so we can provide direct feedback on your designs. Please include the MarvelApp URL in your notes.txt.

Round 2

Submit your Final Design plus Checkpoint Updates (Desktop and Mobile)

Background Overview
Our Company is an American insurer group of automobiles, homes and small businesses and also provides other insurance and financial services products. We have more than 48,000 exclusive and independent agents and approximately 21,000 employees. In this challenge, we are looking to explore UI/UX design concepts (Responsive Web) for our new application that will provide our Internal Employee and Insurance agent an ability to track their current performance and forecast various simulation scenario to improve their performance.

This application is all about profitable growth bonus program detailing out qualification criteria, growth factor/performance multiplier calculation, and forecasting.
 
Challenge Goal
Create a new look and feel design for our Profitable Growth Bonus App
 
Design Consideration
- This app will be developed using "Tableau"
- Simple, Clean, Professional, and Modern look and feel
- Simplicity to add necessary information
- Needs to offer a great focus on the user
- Best Practice for Responsive Web App (Desktop and Mobile)
- Easy to understand flow from page to page
- Intuitive for the user; should never be left asking "what do I do next?"
- Easy viewing for pages that may be over overcrowded with information (eg. when hovering over an item will enlarge for easy viewing or similar)

Screen Requirements
For this challenge, we are looking for the below pages to be designed/considered in your concepts. The screen functionality details listed below are suggested functionality for consideration. Do not allow the suggestions below to impact the creativity of design. If there is a better way to accomplish the same goal, then feel free to take creative liberties.
 
01) Growth Bonus Tracker Performance Screen 
Reference "2019 PGB Tracker mock-up v6.2_V1.1.pdf"
- After successful login, user can navigate to this Growth Bonus Tracker Performance screen
- Feel free to be creative and arrange the screen layout, information hierarchy that offers a better user experience
- Top left navigation Display title Growth Bonus with a suitable icon or image (you are free to create either a new simple logo that matches app purpose or just using logo placeholder)
 
- Top Right-hand section will display the following information: 
-- Agent name, 
-- Current Month, 
-- Updated as of date (read only), 
-- 6 Digit Agent number in the format 12-34-56,  
-- Current rolling 12 months folios like 'Mar 1 2018' to 'Feb 1 2019'
 
- Display the table content (2018 YE Baseline Premium, YTD Growth Target, R-12 Applicable Premium, etc) in a better format
- Simplify the graph to show the performance multiplier vs Growth Factor with title as 'Estimated PGB Bonus Percentage'
- Show the circle series charts (performance multiplier, growth factor, estimated PGB%) in a more easier way
- Provide a better design for the 3 forms section (left, center, right) in "Qualification Criteria"
 
- Provide a better layout for the bottom section:
-- Personal Lines qualification criteria - with some bullet points
-- Commercial Lines qualification criteria - with some bullet points
-- The black marked area on the right side is in scope for this challenge, It's blacked due to content confidentiality, that section should have 8 sample bullet points followed by sample Note: text.

- Display a footnote with Asterisk with some details
- Show a version where the 'calculation not complete for the month'
- Need a simplified version of the desktop to fit on mobile
- No need of bottom detail notes in mobile version
 
02) Growth Bonus Forecast Performance Screen
Reference "2019 PGB Forecaster mock-up v2.0.pdf"
- Display a section to show agent name, 6 digits agent number and Month (Jan 2019)
- Display sliders with premium limits (0, 25k, 50k, 75, 100k ) for Auto, Fire, Commercial, Foremost, Life. This area needs to be very user-friendly and easy to use
- On the sliders show current vs new (i.e. forecaster)
- Display a note that Slides the BLUE arrow up or down to project the premium for this month for each line. Growth Bonus factors will be re-calculated based on your projections
- Display a section to display all details in table format 
- Display a pie chart and graph to show Growth Points, Performance Points, and Growth Bonus factor
- Need a simplified version of the desktop to fit on mobile
- No need of bottom detail notes in mobile version
 
Important:
- Keep things consistent. This means all graphics styles should work together
- All of the graphics should have a similar feel and general aesthetic appearance
 
Marvel Prototype
- We need you to upload your screens to the Marvel App
- Please send your marvel app request to fajar.mln@gmail.com (Challenge Copilot) 
- You MUST include your Marvel app URL (in your marvel app prototype, click on share and then copy the link & share it with your notes/comment this link while you upload)
 
Design and Branding Guidelines
- This should be a professional looking application with an engaging and modern theme
- Follow our Branding Guidelines (Style Guide.png & main site screenshot.png)
- Desktop: Minimum 1366px width with height adjusted accordingly
- Mobile: 750px x 1334 px (iPhone 8)

Submission File
- Submit JPG/PNG image files based on the challenge submission requirements stated above
- MarvelApp link for review and to provide feedback
 
Source Files
All source files of all graphics created in either Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator (might need to convert it to photoshop later) or Sketch or XD and saved as an editable layer
 
Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase, you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors

  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
