Challenge Overview
The goal of this challenge is to fix a number of reported bugs for Document Management System. This includes changes to both backend services (PHP, nodeJs) and frontend(React).
Project Background
We’re building a Document management system that will provide full text search, saving search queries, and document notifications. Backend and frontend are already built, e2e testing is is in progress and in this challenge we will fix issues found during a recent bug hunt.
Project setup
Deployed environment url is provided in the forums but it will be more convenient for you to deploy the app locally. Just follow the wiki page available here.
Challenge Scope
For this challenge you should assign open tickets in Gitlab to yourself and submit a merge request with the fix. Only then you can move on to the next ticket. Full bug bash rules are available on the wiki page https://gitlab.com/anemoi-dms/prototype/wikis/Bug-bash-rules
Note that all the tickets are added to 'prototype' repository but some issues require changes to other repositories too (each issue description has the exact details). Make sure to comment on the issue and link all related merge requests.
Both backend and frontend have good test coverage. Any changes you make should not break any of the tests. If you are adding new features to the codebase, adding unit tests is in scope as well.
