Challenge Summary

Welcome to the "LUX - 7-Eleven Team Refreshments Mobile Design Concepts Challenge"! We are looking to explore UI/UX design concepts for a new application that will provide a team coach (ex. children's soccer team, baseball team, basketball team coach, independent sports club owner, etc) the ability to manage and simplify various aspects of their team communication, supply logistics, and organization. This application will be different from similar applications in the market because the user will be able to connect with the 7-Eleven products database and do online orders for any necessary supply products (hydration and refreshment products, for example, basically extra items needed at your kid's soccer game, etc.) directly within the application. This LUX challenge will focus on designing screens and all interactions to manage this unique feature. We are looking for design concepts and new ways to think about the user interface and experience in this challenge.

The 7-Eleven brand is known and loved around the world, and our iconic products are a big part of American culture. And although we've grown significantly over the years, our focus stays fixed on making life easier for customers. This simple idea is the reason we're the marketplace leader. It's also why our customers, employees, Franchisees and community leaders are proud to be part of the 7-Eleven story.

We are committed to developing experiences of the future by bringing our stores to our customers wherever they are and whenever they need us. We are continuing our long-standing legacy of innovation through software and technology enhancements. We are transforming our business, one digital initiative at a time. We are redefining convenience.

Challenge Goals
In this LUX challenge, we want to create the best UI/UX for a new application to manage various aspects of team communication, logistics, and organization. The challenge is focused on designing screen interactions on how users can easily assign, manage, order and receive supplies and logistics. We want our users, team owners, and members, to be able to access 7-11 hydration and refreshment products, through our app and have them delivered to the game via a smartphone device.

Screen Requirements
For this challenge, we are looking for the below pages to be designed/considered in your concepts. Do not allow the suggestions below to impact the creativity of design. If there is a better way to accomplish the same goal, then feel free to take creative liberties.

01) Team Owner Screens
- The first time the Team Owner arrives in the application, they will be presented with the Full Features of the Admin Dashboard where the Team Owner can manage their team (can be multiple teams, ability to create a new team, delete, statistics, log, etc)
- Once a new team is created, the Team Owner will have access to another dashboard called the Team dashboard. From this Team Dashboard, the Team Owner can manage their team for various types of team activities.
- One of the IMPORTANT features in the application is the ability for Team Owners to assign tasks or duties to team members
- To assign tasks or duties to team members, the Team Owner needs to provide the following information:
-- Select which games or events
-- Type of duties (Ticket Sales, Ground Duties, Bring Snacks and Beverages, Other duties)
-- Notify Members through app about assigned duties
- Team Owners will need to manually add the team members (Member Name, E-mail Address, Phone, Address, Player Name, Age/Date of Birth, Gender, Jersey Number, Positions/Notes)
- Team Owner also will also be able to assign roles to each of the team members (Manager, Coach, Players, Support Staff)
- Team Owner will be able to list all Games and Events related to the team: Game Name, Game Dates & Times, Venues, and Venue Details

02) Team Member Screens
- Team Members will need to create their account and confirm their information after being invited by the Team Owner to join his/her team in the application
- Once a Team Member is validated and registered to the app, they will need to log in using the account they've created and be able to see the Team Dashboard which contains specific information, duties, and tasks related to themselves
- Team members will be able to see specific duties in their dashboard (Pending, Complete, In Progress) that has been assigned to them
- In this challenge, we will assume the task being assigned to the Team Member is to order "Snacks and Beverages".
- The Team Member opens the "Snacks and Beverages" assignment and needs to determine what kinds of snacks and beverages or hydration and refreshments are needed for the team.  They should be able to see the total number of Team Members and individual preferences.
- Once the Team Member has determined the requirements, they will see some type of link or button that will redirect them to a new screen where they can see a list of products displayed from 7-Eleven on their device.  These can be thumbnails, lists, etc.
- There are different categories of products that are available, for example: Energy Bars, Health Drinks, Gatorade, Fresh Fruit, Combos, Team Favorites.
- The Team Member will place the order in a cart to purchase all of the necessary product items (Add, Modify, Delete) for the team.
- For Product List, you can take any products listed on https://www.7-eleven.com (images, product name, etc)
- In the checkout process, the Team member will add Delivery Location, Delivery Time, and Special Instructions related to the order
- The last step of the order process is to pay for the products.  There will be various Payment Methods available to choose from (Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Paypal)
- Once the order process is complete, the Team member will be able to monitor the delivery (Hotspot Delivery) until the order successfully arrives at the location.
