Challenge Details

We ran few challenges to scrap data from few websites that stores the result in csv file. The goal of this challenge is to develop some dashboards to display the data we've collected in an interesting and compelling way using Power BI.

Project Background

Customer is a global healthcare company, they research, develop and manufacture consumer healthcare products. The purpose of this project is to build a crawler to help our client find the price of specific products.

The collected data shared will be shared in the forum as csv file.

Scope
  • There should be 3 pages in your PBI dashboard
    • Page that displays Polish websites related data
    • Page that displays Russian websites related data
    • Page that can show common aspects for all data
  • We're looking for your creativity and insights, even you can submit 2 variations in your submission
  • Data Source Transformation - If you are transforming the csv files provided to xlsx or something that can be shown in a better way in PBI please make sure to document the steps involved.
Please note that the winner will be selected by client and there won't be any appeals phase.

Final Submission Guidelines

Submit the following:
  • A summary document that explains the visualizations that you've created, their purpose, and any features you've added especially, ones that might not be completely obvious to users. You should also make sure that your submission is not breaking when we add a new datasource. You can document the steps to add new data to the dashboard.
  • Power BI Dashboard file
  • Any new data files you've created beyond the ones provided in the forums.  (optional)

Checkpoint Submission

You are strongly encouraged by Sunday, Feb 24 at 9:00 AM EST to make an early checkpoint submission.  We'll be conducting a review on Monday and will be providing feedback based on the early submissions.  You can then make a second (final) submission before the final deadline.  This checkpoint submission isn't required but obviously the feedback will be quite valuable.
