Welcome to the "TC - Challenge Creation Page Design Concepts Challenge". In this challenge, we are looking for creating the best possible UI/UX for one of the major features in our new Topcoder "Challenge Engine" platform. We're gonna need to create a challenge creation page and fleshed out all the details interaction for this page

PROJECT BACKGROUND
- The purpose of this project is to create the best possible UI/UX for one of the major features in our new Topcoder "Challenge Engine" platform
- This feature will be used by Topcoder Copilot to create a new challenge spec and to launch it to Topcoder pipeline
- In this challenge, we're gonna need to create a challenge creation page and fleshed out all the details interaction for this page 

USER ROLES
- Topcoder Copilot, A highly respected and skilled Topcoder member who has passed a certification process and is responsible for leveraging the Topcoder community to produce the best outcome. Copilots along with the client and project architects drive the project to success

SCREEN REQUIREMENTS
01) Challenge Creation Page
- We need to create a single page app that Topcoder copilots will use to create challenge spec and launch the challenge
- In terms of interaction, please feel free to suggest what is the best UX to create the challenge spec, one full page? wizard style? Etc?
- You may add a sidebar to the layout if you feel it will help the overall UX but it’s not required. It can be either on the left or right, your call! You can utilize the sidebar to put any navigation. For ex: step by step spec creation, see existing spec draft, etc! 
- Ability to save challenge spec as a draft, modify, delete, and launch the challenge 
- Preview Page to review the challenge spec before launching the challenge
- This page should have the following fields form available for copilots to enter challenge spec:
-- Select the challenge Track (Design, Development, Data Science)
-- Select the challenge types:
--- Design: Application Front-End Design, Design First2Finish, Idea Generation, Print/Presentation, Web Design, Widget or Mobile Screen Design, Wireframes
--- Development: Bug Hunt, Code, First2Finish, QA, Test Suites
--- Data Science: Marathon Match
-- Enter the challenge name (textbox)
-- Enter the project name - Association with projects in the database (dropdown)
-- Enter Billing Account - Association with billing accounts in the database (dropdown)
-- Enter Milestone (dropdown)
-- Choose Copilot (find copilots, auto-suggestions, search box)
-- Groups - the ability to choose several members to work on the private challenge (eg Veteran community)
-- Challenge Timeline - The default timeline will be inserted based on the selected type (one or two round) but the copilot must be able to modify the timeline or select another from the timeline templates (dropdown list)
-- Enter the challenge details (needs ability and interactions to switch between WYSIWYG and Markdown?)
-- Prizes - Define the prize sets (1st, 2nd, 3rd, +add new placements button, checkpoint, copilot fee, platform fee, spec reviewer fee, screener fee, total cost) 
-- Tags - Associated tags related to the challenge
-- Terms - Associated terms related to the challenge
-- File attachments
-- Scorecard (screening, review, approval scorecard)
-- Deliverables:
--- Design will be related to design tools (PSD, AI, Sketch, XD, PPT, PDF, etc)
--- Dev will be related to tech stack (Type of OS, Type of Tech like React, Angular, etc)
--- Data Science won’t have this section
-- Stock Art (Checkbox)
-- Submission Visibility (Checkbox)

FORM FACTORS
- Web/Desktop - Min 1366px width with height adjusted accordingly

JUDGING CRITERIA
Your submission will be judged on the following criteria:
- How well you plan the user experience and capture your ideas visually
- Cleanliness of your graphics and design
- Overall design, UI and user experience
- Consistency across the UX/UI

FINAL DELIVERABLES
- Submission Files - JPG/PNG image files based on challenge submission requirements stated above
- Source Files - Should be created in Sketch
- Marvel Prototype:
-- We need you to upload your screens to Marvel App.
-- Please send your marvel app request to fajar.mln@gmail.com 
-- You MUST include your Marvel app URL as a text file in your final submission (in your marvel app prototype, click on share and then copy the link).

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

Fonts, Stock Photos, and Icons:

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.

Screening:

All submissions are screened for eligibility before the challenge holder picks winners. Don't let your hard work go to waste. Learn more about how to  pass screening.
