Challenge Summary

Welcome to "Insurance Renewals Monitoring Dashboard Design Concepts Challenge"!

In this challenge, we are looking to design a couple of screens that allow the insurance agents to monitor the list of customers for whom renewals for the next term has been generated for different products.

We are really excited to kick off this Design Concepts Challenge.

Round 1

Submit your initial designs for a checkpoint feedback

- As a part of your checkpoint submission, you must upload your submission to MarvelApp so we can provide direct feedback on your designs.
- Make sure to include a URL/comment the link to your marvelapp while uploading your submission
- Make sure all pages have the correct flow! Use correct file numbering. (00, 01, 02, 03)

Round 2

Submit your final designs with all checkpoint feedback implemented.

Required Dashboard Designs
Upcoming Renewals
Application is used by insurance agents to service their customers. This page shows the customers for whom the renewal for next term has been generated for different products. Users should monitor the renewals and contact customer, all the data required to have the conversation is included on the page.

Generic Interactions in the page
1) Place to host dynamic content with promotions and useful information links
2) Help: Help text on the page with information on each of the data displayed
3) TABS: Display the policies in two sections one section having recently created renewal policies, the other section displays the processed ones where the customer has been contacted by the customer.
4) Number of Records & Pagination: Number of renewals to be displayed on a page is 70, beyond that provide pagination.
5) Search: Provide a way for the user to dynamically search through the customer renewals
6) Process button: Provide a way to select policies and mark it as processed for customers who have been contacted and no more action required (Move to processed section manually must be able to select multiple policies) on a button click.
7) Delete: Button to soft delete selected policies from the user's view, ask for the user’s confirmation before deleting the policy.
8) Print: Button to create a Printer Friendly view of the page (no need to create the view / just include a button)

Fields and Functionalities to be displayed for each customer
Below table need to be displayed for both the tabs “Recently added and Processed Insurances”

Each customer will have these details below (NOTE: Upto 70 customers will be shown in one page, and the user will have pagination to view remaining records)

Customer information & actions
1) Display the name of the customer
2) Option to view the Phone number of the customer: If the phone number is not available then we need a way to capture the phone number.
3) Option to Send email to the customer. If Email address not available, then provide a way to capture the email address
4) Option to schedule a renewal review appointment with the customer in the user's calendar
5) Option to help customer to register into customer service online portal
6) Option to create a quote for the customer for a different line of business. Ex: Auto policy owner create home policy quote and vice versa

Policy Information
1) Display policy Number under renewal
2) Display Product Type of the policy under renewal
3) Display Line of business of policy under renewal
4) Display additional policy information the customer has with the company between 1 to 10 policies average. Show Total count of additional policies. More details for each additional policy (Include policy number, policy product type and line of business (Auto, Home, Umbrella))
5) If auto policy: display vehicles on the policy
6) Customer Segmentation for the policy (Preferred, Standard,  Non-Standard) - Max 4 types
7) Benefits on the policy (Incident forgiveness, Accident Forgiveness, Guaranteed renewal, Youthful Credit) / include a combination of icon and text, we are open to your suggestions on how these need to be displayed.
8) Renewal Review status with the customer (offered & accepted, offered & Declined, Not Offered)

Renewal Information
1) Last renewal policy premium amount in dollar
2) Full-term premium amount in dollar
3) Current renewal premium amount in dollar
4) Change in the premium from last term (communicate whether increased or decreased) in dollar amount
5) Percentage of premium increase from last term (communicate whether increased or decreased) in dollar amount
6) Renewal effective date for the term
7) Renewal processed date
8) Customers Billing account number (5 digits) -  Ex: “14441
9) The Payment Plan for the customer (1-pay, 2 Pay or monthly)

Important:
- Keep things consistent. This means all graphics styles should work together.
- All of the graphics should have a similar feel and general aesthetic appearance.
- Focus on User Experience / how the user interacts within the dashboard.

MarvelApp Prototype
- We need you to upload your screens to the Marvel App
- Please send your Marvel app request to csystic@gmail.com (Challenge Copilot)
- You MUST include your Marvel app URL in notes /comments while uploading (in your marvel app prototype, click on share and then copy the link & share it within your notes while you upload).

Submission & Source Files
Preview Image
Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
- Submit JPG/PNG for your submission files
- Submit Marvelapp as part of your submission.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, or Sketch!

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase, you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. We may ask you to update your design or graphics based on checkpoint feedback.

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
