Round  1
Submit the following designs for the final deadline:

- Meme banners

Challenge Objectives
  • Design a couple of banners
  • Design for web size
  • The scope is to show your design skills in a fun way

Project Background
In this challenge we are looking for some fun meme banners. If you don’t know what a meme is, it’s an image, video, text funny by nature that is spread across the internet very fast. Here are some examples.

If you are subscribed to our Design Newsletter, for sure you have seen some of Gh3ablo’s famous memes with members from the community.

For this challenge, we are looking to do something similar: take a photo of a member/s from our Topcoder Flickr album from the community, make it funny and add some text to it and that’s it!

Note: you can use stockphotos from the allowed sites, but the focus of the photos should be our Topcoder members: designers, developer or anyone else (admins included!). You are free to manipulate the photos as you wish.

The deliverable format can be any image size – PNG, JPG but also animations in GIF format. Have fun!

Size
For this banner we would like you to design at 1024 x 512px.

Branding
  • The color palette is open to the designers
  • Typography is open to designers
  • Stock photos and stock icons are allowed from the approved sources.
  • You can use photos from Topcoder Flickr album
  • You can download the Topcoder logo from here.
