Project Background
Internal Tasks is a new offering at Topcoder that will enable our customers to create talent pools (pre-qualified members) to complete work over a defined amount of time
The user-friendly version of the calculator already created in Google Sheets should follow the same calculations but allow the users to easily input key metrics/variables and view a cost estimate

Workflow
Please make sure your design incorporates this workflow.
  • Step 1: The user launches the calculator
  • Step 2: The user is prompted to enter the following:
    • # of FTEs needed
    • # of months needed
    • The user then clicks a button ‘Calculate Estimate’
  • Step 3: The application generates the cost estimate by using the following calculations on Google Sheet. Check url below
  • Step 4: The user should then be able to view the following costs that make up the total cost:
    • # of FTEs
    • # of mentors required
    • # of SPV’s required
    • Duration of project (in months)
    • % Markup
    • % Delivery cost reduction
    • Effective rate per hour ($USD)
    • Total cost per month ($USD)
    • Total cost ($USD)
  • Step 5: The user should then be able to edit the following fields and then click a button ‘Recalculate’:
    • # of FTEs
    • Duration of project (in months)
    • % Markup
    • % Delivery cost reduction
  • Step 6: Once the user clicks ‘Recalculate’ they should be able to view the following cost breakdown with the updated numbers:
    • # of FTEs
    • # of mentors required
    • # of SPV’s required
    • Duration of project (in months)
    • % Markup
    • % Delivery cost reduction
    • Effective rate per hour ($USD)
    • Total cost per month ($USD)
    • Total cost ($USD)
  • Step 7: Once the user is comfortable with the estimate, they should be able to ‘Finalize Estimate’ and produce a customer-facing estimate that includes:
    • # of FTEs
    • Duration of project (in months)
    • Effective rate per hour ($USD)
    • Total cost per month ($USD)
