Challenge Objectives

In this challenge, we are looking for the test cases to cover the major functionality of topcoder’s community app.

As this test case is more focus on Smoke Test, where participants are expected to think from Behavior Driven Testing(BDT) approach. It is a set of tests run on each new build of a product to verify whether the main functions of the software appear to work correctly.

Later this test case will be used to write the Automation test scripts.
There is no Appeals / Appeals Response phase for this challenge. Decision of Copilot / PM is final.

Focus on positive test scenario with valid test data.

Do not include UI/Visual/Accessibility test scenario on testcase.

Write the test cases as end user perspective.

You may add additional fields if you feel they are necessary or improve the quality of your test cases.
A sample test case and other required document has been updated in challenge forums. Feel free to ask on the challenge forum if you have any questions!
All the participants are expected to create testing account only when it is necessary (max 3 testing accounts can be created).
