SCREEN REQUIREMENTS
For this challenge, we are looking for the below user stories to be created in your submission. The screen functionality details listed below need to be applied as much as possible. However, If there is a better way to accomplish the same goal, then feel free to take creative liberties.
00) General Requirements
- Use design from our previous winner challenge as a base for this challenge
- Please create any new design elements if the scenario requires it and the existing design doesn't have the elements yet
- Please feel free to refine the existing design if you think it will be more suitable to simulate the user stories, however, make sure the design updates consistently in all user stories and all pages.
01) CFU forecast data upload (bottom-up)
- As a user, I want to upload a bottom-up forecast data from the following CFUs: Sandesh Brand 1, Sandesh Brand 2, Sandesh Brand 3 into my forecasting model, so that these forecast data can be visualized against the baseline forecast provided by the Talaria model and the Top-down forecasts provided by Sandesh Group
- More details available in the 'User Stories' provided in the Google drive
02) Actual Data Upload
- As a user, I want to upload data reflecting actual performance ("actuals") into the dashboard, so that I can track performance against the forecast. This data can be just forecast financials (Gross Adds, Leavers, ARPU, etc.) or forecast financials plus primary variables (Footprint, Price, etc.).
- More details available in the 'User Stories' provided in the Google drive
03) Sorting among uploaded Actual file
- As a user, I want to sort the list of uploaded Actuals, so that I can find the one I need
- More details available in the 'User Stories' provided in the Google drive
04) Sorting among uploaded forecast files
- As a user, I want to sort the list of uploaded Forecasts, so that I can find the one I need
- More details available in the 'User Stories' provided in the Google drive
05) Compare Actuals with Forecast - graphs
- As a user in "In Year Actuals" screen, I want to see the latest (by upload date) Actuals plotted against the Forecast (by default latest Budget or whichever I choose from the list) so that I can see if my actuals have deviated from my forecast.
- More details available in the 'User Stories' provided in the Google drive
06) Compare Actuals with the forecast - KPIs visualization
- As a user in "In Year Actuals" screen I want to see, next to each graphs showing Actuals plotted against the Forecast, a list of KPIs summarising performance so far and expected performance by the end of the quarter (quarterly outturn) and the end of the financial year (end of year outturn), so that I can get a high-level summary of how I am performing and whether I'm likely to achieve my budget.
- More details available in the 'User Stories' provided in the Google drive
07) Forecasts comparison
- As a user, I would like to compare two forecasts, so that I can visually compare and contrast their outputs. (The User Story does not specify how to compare forecasts. This will be up to the designer to propose the most effective approach)
- More details available in the 'User Stories' provided in the Google drive
08) Exceptions represented in a table
- As a user, I want to see a table laying out significant differences between two forecasts (Baseline, Top-Down, Bottom-Up, Budget) for all the forecast financials, so that I know where to focus when trying to reconcile the two forecasts. This is presented at the most aggregate level (i.e. Broadband total across Rabbit, Cheetah and Tortoise, and across Consumer Sandesh Brand 1, Sandesh Brand 2, Sandesh Brand 3 and SME), and then drilling down to the lower forecast level.
- More details available in the 'User Stories' provided in the Google drive
09) Exception Identification - Simple visual call out
- As user, when I am looking at a page comparing two forecasts, I want the exceptions between these forecasts to be visually identified so that I can take action to investigate them further
