Welcome all to the Test Scenario and Test Case Creation Challenge Series for Topcoder Connect App.
About the app:
Topcoder Connect app is a Project Management Tool used by Topcoder Customers, Copilots and other users to create new projects, add Teams and Topcoder members with different roles, share assets and send messages.
Requirements:
In this challenge, we will be focusing Only on the below area of the connect app:
Connect App - Project Creation flow and Project Details page for different users
-Project Creation flow for all types of users
-Project Details page ( includes Messages, Assets Library, Scope, Dashboard, Administration, Team, Topcoder)
-Add/Remove/Update Phase
- Also refer the detailed Functional requirement posted in the forum to understand the requirement in detail
Things to note:

Some functions are different for different user roles. So explore each of the user roles before starting to write the test case.

Team section is for customers (any user in the Team section will be considered as Customer for that project)

Topcoder section is for add/remove Topcoder users ( like Copilot, Account Manager, etc) into the project
- Include test cases to verify the notification emails and its content whenever necessary. All the sample users get their notification in the email topcoderconnect@gmail.com. Filter the applicable message using the ‘Sent To’ field. Password for this gmail account will be shared in the forum.
-Include all the functions, use cases and validations for the ‘Test Case Summary’ column. There is no need to write test steps or expected results for this challenge.
-Include the following:
- All functional test cases
- Positive test cases
- Negative test cases
- Integration test cases
- Do Not include the following:
- All non functional Scenarios
- UI/Visual/Accessibility scenarios
- Performance test scenarios
- Security test scenarios
- Edge case scenarios
App URL and User credentials are provided in the forum. Use the app, explore and understand the functions. The Test Scenario Document that will be created via this challenge will be used as a BRD(Business Requirements Document) for future references.

Judging Criteria:
Submissions will be reviewed subjectively based on the following criteria:

Coverage: How completely test cases cover the functionality

Maintainability: How well written and easy to understand the test cases are

Content: How accurate the test cases are
-
Quality: Overall quality of the submission
