Challenge Summary

In the following challenge, we are looking to your design expertise and skills to continue thinking and conceptualizing the screens and functionalities of a mobile web application which will provide account level functionalities to end-users, show comparison between different investments for future date, current holdings, statements and provide research materials which can upgrade the overall knowledge base for end-user to make better and profitable investment.

Round 1

For the first round provide the initial designs for the following screens:
1) Account Change Request: Home
2) Offset Request
3) Allocation App

- Important: As part of your checkpoint submission, you must upload your submission to MarvelApp so we can provide direct feedback on your designs.
- Please ask in the Forum for a MarvelApp prototype link. You will receive 1 MarvelApp prototype for Mobile.
- Make sure to include a URL/Link to your design within your "notes.txt", Important!
- Make sure all pages have correct flow! Use correct file numbering. (00, 01, 02, 03)

Round 2

For the final round provide the final designs for the following screens:

3) Allocation App
4) Reports Custom Dashboard
5) Check Deposits

Project Background
The mobile web application will be developed for investors and admin users to keep track of their portfolio. This tool will be used by investors to maximize the return by managing the investments and performing SWOT analysis (Strength, weakness, opportunities and threat) at a given point of time.

We need you to take the winning design from the 1st challenge as your main layout and style reference and transform it into a mobile experience following the layout in the provided wireframes.

Consider that we are providing some very detailed wireframes that have been developed to provide the best possible UX, so use these wireframes as your main reference and stick to them as much as possible. Avoid changing too drastic the layout presented on the wireframes. This is a key requirement for this challenge, so stick as much as possible to the provided wireframes.

Required Screens
Please use the mock data from the winning design (Desktop) and the provided wireframes to help know where data should be placed.
Please make sure your design includes the following screens:

1) Account Change Request: Home
- Please use the layout from page 2 and mock data on page 3

2) Offset Request
- Please use the layout from page 4 and mock data on page 5

3) Allocation App
- Please use the layout from page 6 and the mock data on pages 7 and 8

4) Reports Custom Dashboard
- Please use the layout from page 9 and mock data on page 10

5) Check Deposits
- Notice that users needs to uploaded images of the Check, being on a mobile phone the most natural action is to allow users to take pictures of the front and back of the check.
- Please use the layout from page 11

Users/Roles
Please make sure your design supports the following roles.
- Admins: Access to all Customers/Brokers, Admins are responsible for uploading Research documents, support, etc.
- Direct Customers:  Direct Customers usually have 1 account and do the transactions accordingly. In another scenario, Direct Customers can have multi accounts for Family members, etc.
- Brokers: Brokers handle Multiple accounts for various customers

Design Requirement
For this challenge you only need to focus on creating the light theme; so you do not need to design a dark mode for this mobile version.

Form Factors
Please make sure your design supports these form factors:
  • In-scope
    • Mobile Portrait: 750px width / 1334px min for height and adjusted if necessary.
  • Out of scope (DO NOT DESIGN)
    • Tablet portrait and landscape
    • Web / Desktop Computers

Final Deliverables
All original source files.
Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as a layered PSD file, Adobe Illustrator or as a layered AI file, Sketch or XD.

Marvel Prototype
We need you to upload your screens to Marvel App.
Please check forum for MarvelApp requests
You MUST include your Marvel app URL as a text file in your final submission labeled “MarvelApp URL” (in your marvel app prototype, click on share and then copy the link).

How To Submit

  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
