Challenge Summary

Welcome to the "RUX - 72H AM Month End Dashboard UI Design Challenge". In this challenge we are looking for your great design skills to quickly help us conceptualize and design a new desktop application focused on data visualization, chatbot and task management features. This application will be desktop based, so you will be working on creating the screens for this device only.

Let us know if you have any questions!

What is a RUX Challenge?
The RUX (Rapid User Experience) challenge uses the same format as our famous LUX Challenge except it is not "Live" at an event. The RUX Challenge Series provides you with an opportunity to show digital leaders from some of the largest companies in the world just how good your concept and user experience (UI/UX) design skills are.

RUX (Rapid User Experience) challenges are fast, fun, and have more chances for you to capture prize money!

Note: You do not need to have RUX challenge experience to join this challenge - Just jump in and give it a try! Make sure to follow the challenge details, the challenge forum and ask questions.
Full Description & Project Guide
Background information

“AM” is one of the largest manufacturers of steel and they operate globally.  Wipro Sales and Business people work with them in a consulting capacity. They do Month End Closings and Quarterly End Closings which show inventory they have sold and the revenue. This shows the state of the business at the end of that month or quarter. There are activities based on the client initiating a process that needs to be completed by the end of the month.  The application Dashboard should show the activities and their status.  It should give updates and notifications days before an activity is due, and also when it is past due.

This application will run for 3 different users, you need to design a single and separate dashboard for these 3 users.  Please see the GHENT tab on the spreadsheet provided for mock data for the required screens:

1) Business User/Country Head:
This user is the head of the country division and oversees all of the activities of the personnel within that country region for the month and quarter.  They can drill down to see all of the activities and due dates for each day. They will need to see the Due Dates, Status, Person the Activity is Assigned to, and Reason why an Activity has been Delayed. It should also show the number of days before an activity is due or past the deadline, this is shown in Column B of the GHENT tab in the spreadsheet.

2) BOCE (Business Center of Excellence):
This user can see the entire continent, like Europe.  They should be able to organize and filter their dashboard by countries within the continent.  This user sees the same thing as the Business User, but has the ability to change and reassign the owner.  They can follow and collaborate on why something is pending.  They should be able to email, chat, call, or video conference with the person who has been assigned to complete the task.

3) Wipro User:
This user must see all of their business, which spans over multiple countries.  They should see a breakdown of the activities from each country they are working with.  They should be able to view the number of days before each project is due, deadline dates, activities, the frequency of these activities, and whether it is monthly or quarterly. Please see the GHENT tab in the provided spreadsheet to see the mock data and fields . They should receive notifications of deadlines days before an activity is due.

You will be focused on desktop screens for now, but have in mind that this application can be responsive in the future.

Things to think about:
- This design should be clean and elegant. Think of corporate end users.
- Your design should look modern and professional.
- Be careful with typos and spelling errors. Double check everything before submitting.
- Do not design a logo for this application. You can use a dummy logo or a placeholder. The real logo will be replaced later.

Required Screens & Features
1) Login Screen (Global for all 3 users)

- We need to design a login screen form which all 3 different users can access this application.
- Regular login fields are required:
    - Email
    - Password
    - Submit button
    - Recovery password features.
- Make this screen simple and elegant.
- This is not a key screen on this app, so do not lose too much time on this. Focus on what is important… The Dashboard!

2) Dashboard Screens (Key Screens)
Reminder that you should design 3 separate Dashboards for the 3 users we have described.
2.1) for Business User/Country Head
- Once this user successfully accesses this application, they should be able to see a dashboard with high level data about his/her performance. As this user is the head of the country business, they should:
- See all the activities of employees within that country region for the month and quarter
- See their own personal activities.
- Have the ability to drill down and see all of the activities and due dates for each day.
- See the Due Dates, Status, Person the Activity is Assigned to, and Reason why an
Activity has been Delayed.
- See supporting material for all necessary fields and sample mockup data.
- Note: On this file you will see the “WD” letters, this means “Working Days”. ie: WD-3, WD-2, WD-1.  This means 3 days, 2 days, and 1 day before the end of the month.

2.2) for BCOE (Business Center of Excellence)
- Once this user successfully accesses this application, they should be able to see a landing page or dashboard with high level data about his/her performance. Necessary features for this user:
- See the entire continent, for example: Europe.
- See ALL the same things as the Business User, AND have the ability to change and reassign the owner.
- Follow and collaborate about why an activity is pending.
- Have the ability to email, chat, call and video conference with the person who has been assigned to complete the  task.
- See supporting material for all necessary fields and sample mockup data.

2.3) for Wipro User
- Once this user successfully accesses this application, they should be able to see a landing page or dashboard with high level data about his/her performance. Needed  features for this user:
- See all of his/her work which spans over multiple countries.
- See a breakdown of the activities from each country they are working with
- View the number of days before each project is due, deadline dates, activities, the frequency of these activities, and whether it is monthly or quarterly.

3) Chatbot (Key Feature)
- Propose a chatbot tool where users can get important notifications and make requests.
- Users will get automated responses based on their requests.
- This feature should be easy to see and to interact with. Do not complicate this by hiding the chatbot unnecessarily.

4) Collaboration (Key Feature)
- When viewing activities allow for the user (especially important for the BCOE) to collaborate with the person the particular activity is assigned to. They should be able to Call, Email, Chat and Video Conference about any issue.

5) Notifications (Key Feature)
- Allow the user to see when there are deadlines days before and after an activity is due, see column B in the GHENT tab in the spreadsheet provided.  The user should be able to create settings of when they get notifications of these days before and after an activity deadline.
- Show an example of an Escalation Notification where an Activity needs to be taken over by a supervisor or another team due to a turn in events. (Important)
- Create a notification of what will happen if they miss a deadline.  The consequences of missing a deadline could possibly put a contract or a deal that they were trying to close at risk.

Screen Sizes (Important)
- Desktop: 1440px width and height increased if necessary
- Think Desktop First! while designing.

Marvel Prototype
- We need you to upload your screens to Marvel App.
- Please request for your MarvelApp prototype in the respective thread in forum.
- You MUST include your Marvelapp URL (in your marvelapp prototype, click on share and then copy the link & share it with your notes/comment this link while you upload).
