Challenge Summary
Welcome to the "2020 Topcoder Design Tournament - The Bracket Seed Challenge"! As part of Topcoder Design Month, we are excited to have our first-ever bracket-style "Design Tournament".
On Friday, May 15th we will host a series of 30-minute design challenges (rounds) with designers competing one-on-one with rapid judging. At the end of the tournament, we will declare our first "Topcoder Design Tournament Champion!".
The goal of this challenge is to "seed" the designers (you) into the tournament. The winners (top 64) of this challenge will all join the tournament challenge! Take a look at the design problem and submit your design! We are not expecting the design task in this challenge to take more than an hour - don't spend lot of time! If we have less than 64 submitters, everyone will be a winner. If you are interested in joining our first ever Design Month Design Tournament… submit your design now!
Showcasing your skill and concepts in this challenge will determine who you will initially face one-on-one!
The goal of the provided design problem is to analyze the user experience and provide a design concept and visual solution on how the application might look and work.
ALL TOPCODER DESIGN RULES APPLY. Entries must be your original work, and must not infringe on the copyright or licenses of others. All standard Topcoder Terms, Topcoder Policies apply to this challenge. Your design must be created by you and original to you. You are allowed to be inspired by design research but copying and submitting someone else's designs is against Topcoder policies and will not be tolerated.

CHALLENGE DETAILS
The goal of this challenge is to design the look and feel of one (1) Phone App Screen based on.
PROBLEM
You are frequently in low-bandwidth or poor wifi areas around the world. Design a minimalistic screen for:
[select one] and [create one screen]
• A simple fast-loading (phone view) view of a Topcoder challenge listing page
• A chatbot (phone view) that helps answer COVID related medical questions
• A calendar (phone view) that shows a user's current time zone and additional timezones in order to schedule a global team in multiple locations.
• A check-in screen (phone view) for an event app for a major conference
• A time tracker (phone view) to help a virtual worker keep track of their various tasks throughout the day
DESIGN & BRANDING GUIDELINES
- Design for your idea and what you think the best UX could be.
- Font usage is up to the designer
- Color Palette is up to the designer
- Don't overthink it!
TARGET DEVICE: Phone
- Up to you - but must be a phone size
TARGET AUDIENCE
- Think about the user based on the problem you select

- You don't need a Marvel project for this challenge
JUDGING CRITERIA
Your submission will be quickly judged on the following criteria:
- Good clean UI design
- Does the UX make sense
- Originality

Submission File
- Submit all JPG/PNG image files based on challenge submission requirements stated above
Source File
- All source files of all graphics created in the design tool of your choice
- There will be no screening in this challenge.
Declaration File
- Declaration files document contains the following information:
- Stock Art/Photos Name and Source Links from an allowed sources
- Stock Icons Name and Source Links from an allowed sources
- Fonts Name and Source Links source from an allowed source
