APPLICATION OVERVIEW
- Juno is maintaining a Technology Support site that contains information about the tools their employees might have to use. Think of it as a large library of different documents, in which the users want to find the exact piece of information that they need at a certain point in time.
- The structure and grouping of information and the search functionality is critical for this product so that the users can intuitively browse, search, and filter the content. Explore what visual aids would work best for this use case and how to provide an upgraded, intuitive search feature that suggests users what kind of content they might be looking for.
AUDIENCE
There is a wide range of users who will visit the Technology Support site. They are Juno employees from any departments, age group, gender, technical knowledge.
PERSONA
Name: Daniel
Occupation: Insurance Agent
Goals:
Daniel would like to close some deals with his clients which requires negotiations.
Frustrations:
How is he going to handle all the meetings during COVID 19?
Wants:
Daniel would like to use the Technology Support intranet site to quickly find the right tools and learn how to use them to continue the job he is good at, which is convincing his clients to sign the deals.
USER STORY
Daniel is conscious about his clients’ health, during COVID-19, so instead of meeting them in-person to discuss their insurance details he would like to set up online meetings with them. He is used to handling larger deals in-person and is new to Cisco Webex, the tool his colleagues use. After a short training, he still has some questions. Daniel would like to learn more about Webex through the Technology Support intranet site.

GLOSSARY
SharePoint: SharePoint is a platform within Office 365 that provides an extensive range of collaborative and creative capabilities enabling organisations to store, organize, share, and access information from almost any device.
SCREENS/FEATURES
Please make sure your design includes the following screens/sections. Our client is open to your suggestions about the structure of the screens, as long as they deliver the same content and allow for the same functionality shown on the attached wireframes. Try to explore solutions that minimize or avoid scrolling where possible.
01. Landing Screen
The main content of the screen is the content library. Please explore what options we have to show the different groups of content. Refer to the sample image of the existing site for sample content, Do not copy the layout.
In addition to the main content we would like you to provide the following sections on the landing page:
- Alerts and updates for the users, including the option for the alert to scroll across the screen.
- Upgraded smart-search option, including type ahead functionality or other improvements, to locate all documents hosted on the site. (Keep in mind the ability to tag every document or page no matter the placement.)
- Popular links/most used links as a shortcut.
02. Search Results
Please show us, how the search functionality would work from the landing screen to the search results screen. Explore the filtering functionality and provide a great solution for the goal that is to help the user find the right material quickly and easily. Show the user the settings he used to search and a list of content that came back as the result.
03. Content Request Form
When a user cannot find the right content as it is not yet in the library he can request that content to be added to the knowledge base. Explore what information this form should contain (and do not forget SharePoint compatibility).
04. Content Screen
Each link on the landing page will open to a content screen. Think of the content as articles in a knowledge base. Show us how this screen would look. Each article will have certain fields that the content creator will have to fill in. In addition, different types of media can be added to the articles. The following list of fields and types of information that we think would be useful for the articles. We are also open to other ideas (as long as it is SharePoint compatible):
- Title
- Tags, which would help the search function
- Category
- Written copy
- Images
- Video
- Links
- Date (of upload, last modification)
- etc.
