CHALLENGE DETAILS
The goal of this challenge is to design the look and feel of a Desktop/Web experience.

Problem: Topcoder Member Registration Success
All new Topcoder Member goes through new Member "Registration" here: https://accounts.topcoder.com/member/registration at the end of the Registration flow we provide a Registration Success screen (see screenshot below). Once a user sees this screen their existing web experience dies until they check their email.

This challenge is focused on creating a better "Registration Success" experience! How can you improve the user experience and the actions on this screen?
  • Does it make sense to direct the user to another page on the site? Gigs or Learn or Challenges?
  • Does it make sense to allow a user the ability to get back to Topcoder.com? (navigation options?)
  • Important: New members must check their email and click on the link to activate their account so some type of messaging related to this is required. How can this be improved?
  • If a user needs to resend their activation link - do we include that information here?
  • The ability to get support?

We do not want to overcomplicate this page but we do want to improve the New Member experience. As you are all existing Topcoder members and designers - what do you think?

60 Minutes
1) Design a Desktop screen (Responsive friendly)
2) Suggest a better member user experience
3) Suggest messaging (It does not need to be perfect English - but attempt to suggest better copy)
4) While the user must check their email and activate their account we do not want to "kill" their web experience at this point in case they want to click onward.
5) No modal windows!
