Challenge Details
The goal of this challenge is to design the look and feel of a Responsive phone application.

Problem: Five Habits: The best reflection of you
Today, employers of all sizes are looking to improve and support their employees by creating a vibrant company culture. Company culture is critical as employees want to be proud of who they work for, be happy with their job, and enjoy working with their co-workers. Happy and supported employees are critical to the success of any company. Company culture programs help create a common language (spoken and unspoken) that everyone can understand and support.

In this challenge, the company’s culture program is “The 5 Habits.” The belief is that when everyone in the company understands and uses the 5 habits in their day-to-day life, a shared language and understanding is possible and the company culture can flourish.

The Five Habits
  • Being Respectful: Treat others how I want to be treated.
  • Being Responsive: Acknowledge, commit, and respond within reasonable timeframes.
  • Always Communicating: Ensure information flows (including difficult news) in a timely,  proactive, and consistent manner.
  • Demonstrating Stewardship: Put my company's interest ahead of everything else (business unit/team/self).
  • Building Trust: Demonstrate a high say-do ratio in everything I do. (e.g., you do what you say you will do and build trust.)

Design Challenge: Responsive Mobile Experience
We are looking for a responsive mobile experience, "Five Habits"  that allows an employee to feel a personal engagement with their company through habit building, conversations, connections, group cheering, skills, and personal milestones.

Employees would be able to open this site at any time and engage with their company's culture by seeing inspiring quotes, conversations, and shout-outs to/from other employees (even more critical now that we are all virtual). They could track their professional development and career progression. Employees would always have help and encouragement from their team at their fingertips.

User flow (screens are up to you) to capture:
  • Assume an employee has already onboarded, set up their preferences and is using the application daily.
  • The employee checks their phone in the morning, and they can see things like encouraging notes, conversations they are following, the progress of their goals, and their peer's goals.
  • They can see their schedule and helpful tips related to the 5 Habits (For example: reminder to complete something or check-in on a project).
  • A helpful tip might be If their day is hectic, to communicate and rework their schedule.
  • 5 Habits tip of the day
  • Habit tracking - the employee can track progress on a habit or goal they are personally looking to improve.
  • Show how a user could share their progress and encourage their colleagues who are doing the same.
  • The employee can see any awards/praise/cheer that has been given to them via their teammates.

Note: You have 60 minutes, so make the most of it.
