Welcome to the "MakeItBetter - Are You Better Than Our Finalist? Fun Design Challenge". Yesterday, we just completed the 'TCO20 Design final - Day 1'. All design track finalists competing in the bracket tournament format for 3 rounds and nothing can beat the adrenaline, the excitement, the pressure, and the atmosphere of the final live competition!
If you are not one of the design finalists, don't worry! You still have a chance to experience the TCO Final atmosphere! For the next 3 hours, you can simulate the TCO Design Finals experience by joining this FUN design challenge and tackle one of the design problems presented in 'TCO Design final - Day 1' yesterday. Please read more details below and enjoy the challenge!

CHALLENGE OBJECTIVES
- Having fun with Topcoder Members during TCO20 Design Final 2
- Experiencing the TCO Final Situation
CHALLENGE REQUIREMENTS
- Yesterday, our TCO20 design track finalists being presented with 3 design problems and they have 30 minutes to propose their design solution for each problem
- In this challenge, we will provide one of the design problems that being presented to our finalists and we want you to create and propose your solution for that design problem
- Can you offer a better design version than our finalist? Show us your skills!
- You have 3 hours (10x times than our finalist) to create the design, from 8 AM to 11 AM EDT to create your design, so use it wisely!

- This challenge aims to design the look and feel of a 1 Tablet Screen (responsive application)
Problem: Restaurant Order Manager
- We are in a global pandemic, and restaurants are struggling to stay in business and manage everything online. Many restaurants have launched websites and new mobile apps to make it easier for customers to order and do curbside pickup. This challenge is not about the customer side, but about the restaurant and employee experience within the restaurant. As these orders arrive, employees and cooks need to quickly understand the order (many are custom) and package up the food for curbside pickup
- There is chaos in the restaurant as restaurant employees manage the orders, screens, and printed tickets as new orders arrive
Design Challenge: Customer & Order Management
- We are looking for you to design 1 Tablet Screen that shows current online orders and allows an employee to manage the customer's order digitally when they arrive at the restaurant
- What matters to the employee?
- What information might be useful for the employee in a hectic environment?
- Orders pending
- Time of the order
- Time of pickup
- Order details (Name, what was ordered, customizations, notes from the customer, etc.)
- Think about the employee experience

- Pick a restaurant and food you like!

Submission Format Requirements
- Tablet Experience (responsive application): 2732 x 2048px
- Either Portrait or Landscape orientation is acceptable

SUBMISSION DELIVERABLES
- One zip files contain:
- Submission File: submit one Tablet design in JPG/PNG format
- Source Files: submit your design source file (Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel, Affinity Designer, etc)
- You can only submit one time in the challenge!
