Challenge Details
The goal of this challenge is to design the look and feel of a native iPad experience.

Problem: Gig Investment Plan
As a designer in the gig/freelance economy, you might not have spent time planning out your retirement or how to manage and invest your income for you and your family's future. In this challenge, we are looking to design an application to help "novice" investors find the best place to invest their money. The application would help new investors understand their options based on current savings, monthly savings, life goals, risk tolerance, and time targets.

This Gig'vester application will help a freelancer create an investment plan which will consist of several options (globally) like real estate, the stock market (different stock markets,  portfolio options: Futures, ETF's, Mutual Funds, etc.) This advisor will help analyze what works and is available to them.

Design Challenge: Onboarding Experience
Design the Tablet onboarding and dashboard experience for a newbie Gig'vestor customer.

The app could showcase the best investment "suggestions" for our user, based on:
  • Risk tolerance
  • Goals
  • Time target
  • Monthly savings
  • Current savings

The user can modify each one of these parameters and see how their ROI might change.

Each investment plan will have a few sections that capture:
  • Real estate (different options)
  • Stock markets (different stock markets)
  • Portfolio options (Futures, ETFs, Mutual Funds, etc.)

Other Thoughts
  • The ability to see friends investments and share investment recommendations
  • Chatbot help with any questions/ guide the user
  • Option to find more details about each investment (get into technical details quickly)

Note: You have 60 minutes, so make the most of it.
