CHALLENGE OVERVIEW:
Our client is a large global insurance company focused on these core business segments: Global Life and General Insurance.

Users of this IT country Operations will be used by the COO and their main intention is to get a quick look at the dashboard and get an outlook of the overall operations across different countries in Europe (Belgium, Netherlands, France, Finland, Sweden, Norway, South Africa, and Russia).

AUDIENCE:
Chief Operating Officers (COO)

DESIGN GOALS & PRINCIPLES
Below are some of the goals:
  • These datasets require a design that can display a lot of table data, in lots of rows.  While this is true, try not to have too much information on your screen, you can make them compelling by making the visualization interactive and enable users to walk through or drill into the different insights.
  • Elegant, clean, simple, user-centered look and feel with modern aesthetics
  • Use color, visual comparison, and drill-down charts to highlight comparison.
  • The overall design and user experience
  • Engaging and easy-to-use/interact UI
  • How well does your design align with the objectives of the challenge.
EXPLORATION SCORE
In terms of expectations, we would like to measure the concept against the following in the one to ten scales (ask the client to rate each of the parameters):

Creativity: 10
1: barely new ideas
10: a utopic product but with features that can be fully implemented

Aesthetics: 8
1: low-fidelity design, wireframe or plain sketch
10: top-notch finished looking visual design

Exploration: 8
1: strictly follow an existing reference or production guideline
10: open to alternative workflows/features not listed here that would help the overall application

Branding: 8
1: don’t care at all about the branding just functionality
10: without a properly branded product there is no success

BRANDING GUIDELINES
Please use the branding that has been provided in the forums

SCREEN REQUIREMENTS
For this challenge, we are looking for the below screens to be created in your submission. The functionality details listed below need to be included in your solution:

Please don’t show any maps in your designs as COO for that specific country will view data only specific to that country. Below are the list of countries for which we will be using the dashboard.

  • BENE: Belgium & Netherlands
  • NORDIC > drill-down to a single country in Nordic: Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Iceland, as well as the Faroe Islands
  • France
  • Russia
  • Netherlands
  •

01 IT Country Operations:
Below is the list of statistics we need in the dashboard
- We have shared a couple of references that will help you understand the data we are looking for.

Number of users/computers

  • Overview of the number of supported users and devices.
  • Overall COO’s are interested in how many devices are in use, how many devices are in stock, how many devices were stolen or lost.
  • This is a general guideline for all countries: Every country should have at least 5% of laptops in stock, small countries (ex: Norway) - should have a minimum of 2 devices in stock. So, we might need to indicate it in red if it is below a certain number.
  • Drill-down should allow the user to see what are the model numbers (older model - 7390 and new model - 5300) and also see the asset number.

New joiners/leavers

  • Every month we have new employees in the company and also employees leave the company.
  • There could be 2 types of joiners or leavers “Employee (permanent employee) and Contractors”
  • Allow the users to use a slicer to view /drill-down the data by regions.
  • Shows the trend over a few months / custom period for new joiners and leavers.
  • Allow the users to drill-down to view the employee data (name, country, Incident ticket numbers) as well / list of who joined or left the company
  • Also, allow the user to compare the statistics with previous years / for example: compare December 2020 with December 20019 or a certain period in this year Vs last year.

New joiners/leavers Ticket

  • Incident connect for new joiners and leavers
  • The table should have incident ticket numbers associated with the user

Resolution time

  • It is the resolution time taken to resolve incident tickets
  • Multiple ways to raise tickets (chatting, create a ticket online in Portal)
  • Resolution time different across different countries
    • Calling: France it is 4hrs and others 8hrs
    • Chat: France it is 4hrs and others 8hrs
    • Self-service: 12hrs of first response
  • COO’s will be interested to see if the tickets are closed as per the SLA (service level agreement)

Incorporate information from "CI exec report"
Printing of B/W and color pages across different countries

Analysis + action on address shared issues and long resolution time
This will be a table with the actions we are doing

Monthly Trends of tickets raised, open tickets

  • Show the speed of answer for Call (82% calls picked in the 30s), Chat (80% response in 45s), and Portal (95% attendance in 12 hrs) - please see reference 1.png
  • Show the achieved and not achieved the status
  • Also, show the call abandon status (95% of the calls answered within the 30s)

Office Network
Show utilization of excel overtime

O365 services (Teams, Outlook, SPO)

  • Show utilization of Teams, Outlook, SPO overtime
  • We can show the utilization by days, months.
  • These can show the overall % utilized
  • We have shared a reference to help you understand better what we are expecting to see in the dashboard (please use it as a reference for content)

SharePoint Utilisation
Number of sites created, files shared, etc

Softphones
Show the number of landline phone numbers that were used Vs available
This will be phone numbers that are available in different countries

Software update tracker
List of software deployments per month
Ex: Acrobat PDF update, etc
Status of major migrations (e.g., Bitlocker, O365, Win10)

Updates result (Software updates)
This will show the status (failed or success) of various software updates
It can be shown as a percentage (%failed and %succeeded)
