Challenge Details

The goal of this challenge is to design the look and feel of a native iPhone experience.

Problem: Doctor’s to the rescue!
There are many situations where a medical doctor is needed urgently and it is difficult for the hurt person to get to a hospital quickly. (examples: highway accident, breaking a leg while hiking, falling in a remote location, no local hospital within a short distance, etc.)

As these situations are severe, the people involved might not know what to do to help save a life or help the hurt individual. This application would show a list of emergency doctors who would always be available for video calls, texting, or phone at any time of the day. They are emergency doctors and can guide an untrained person to provide first aid and advice while trying to get to a hospital. The ability to quickly get help would save time and help save lives or reduce trauma from the event.

Ideally, the dashboard would allow the user to quickly trigger help from a doctor or search for a doctor. Realize the use of voice, quick usage of buttons, and the camera will be critical.

The application would be able to provide the doctor with your location and personal information so you do not need to share/validate that with them. The user would be able to search for a doctor and quickly call him/her on phone/WhatsApp/Facebook etc. They would see their ratings and how many situations they have helped. The camera could be used for video calls or photos to understand the situation.

Thoughts on Features:
1. Quick open application with a simple dashboard
2. Ability to quickly trigger help or search for a doctor/specialist (it is all about available time)
3. Ability to do a video call, voice call, text and understand signal strength.
4. Language support
5. Camera/Video could also help diagnose/provide detail to the doctor before the user even explains the situation.

Rescue 911
