Challenge Summary

Introduction
Welcome to the TCO21 Regional -  UI Design Tournament  "Seed" Challenge. This challenge is the first challenge to "place" designers into our bracket-style Rapid UI Design Tournament!

The goal of this challenge is to "seed" the designers (you) into the TCO21 Regional - UI Design Tournament.

1. Review the SEED design problem
2. Ask questions in the forums
3. Submit your best solution to this challenge
4. Topcoder Admins will announce the SEED rankings on Wednesday, August 4, 2021
5. Join us on Friday, August 6, 2021, for Round 1 @ 07:00 UTC-4 of the TCO21 Regional - UI Design Tournament.

Showcasing your concepts and skills in this challenge will determine your starting placement in the design tournament and who you will face one-on-one!

Analyze the user experience and provide a design concept and visual solution on how the application might look and work.

At Topcoder, we are always pushing you to think about the user, the human experience, and being bold in your design decisions. Take some risks and have fun designing!

ALL TOPCODER DESIGN RULES APPLY. Entries must be your original work and must not infringe on the copyright or licenses of others. All standard Topcoder Terms, Topcoder Policies apply to this challenge. Your design must be created by you and original to you. You are allowed to be inspired by design research, but copying and submitting someone else's designs is against Topcoder policies and will not be tolerated.

CHALLENGE DETAILS

The goal of this challenge is to design the look and feel of a Responsive Desktop experience.

Problem: Topcoder Member Payments
The Topcoder team is always looking to improve your community experience. The Topcoder payment process/platform is old and outdated and we are looking to leverage modern payment platforms and create a more enjoyable experience.
This challenge is NOT a replacement or copy of PACTS. This challenge is a complete reimagining of how you (a Topcoder member and competitor) would like to manage your Topcoder winnings and payments.

  1. When a community member arrives on their Payments what should the experience be?
  2. As a first-time user (no payments yet - what should they see? Instructions?)
  3. Payment setup steps?
  4. How should payments look and be tracked?

Think of Topcoder Payments as part of the overall Topcoder member experience. We are looking for your quick design UI and UX design concepts on a modern experience.

At Topcoder throughout the past year, we have many challenges tackling financial UX problems and experiences (for banks, insurance companies, and payment providers). Think of modern financial user interactions and experiences and provide your quick solution.
