You can register to a NASA challenge just like any other Topcoder challenge - all you need to do is go on the challenge page and press “Register”.
You will of course be able to share the fact that you have competed and placed in a competition. In general, the actual deliverables of competitions are private and under NDA for the client, so you will not be able to share code or designs unless it is specifically permitted for that challenge, for example by open-sourcing the product.
New challenges will be listed on the Topcoder Challenges list and also included in the Topcoder Community Events Calendar. You can also join the NASA community to receive exclusive notifications on all new NASA challenges.
The NASA community is an opt-in Topcoder sub-community focused on the NASA challenges. Joining will give you the opportunity to be notified first of any NASA-related news at Topcoder - what better chance to get to use NASA work on your resume?
